Of course, that completely undermines the joke.
But it still doesn't work. You are either complete or incomplete.
That's not true. If he needs two Androids to become complete, he's halfway toward being complete with one of them.

I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

I'm betting that TFS Hercule might be the funniest character in this show
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.
This episode was top notch. Instantly loved it when I heard Goku singing the saiyan song and Cell's perfect voice is so good. Can't wait to hear for of it!
Piccolo and Tien and Bulma talking about who messes up the plan is pretty funny too.
The best thing about it might be that the scene is about mispronounciations and he does not know how to pronounce "sama" and pronounces it like "saaaaaaama" instead of a short "sama". This is Japanese. If there is nothing showing it is a long "a", it is simply "sama". Really the only way to justify that is by saying he lengthened it as he was angry. (and no, I am not talking about that he did not use the English pronounciation of an "a", the Japanese "a" is more like the German one or other European ones and even a short "a" sounds like "ah", just not as long as it was said here).

Anyways I found this series of reactions where the thing is, one of the guys has never seen Dragon Ball, and literally DBZA is how he's experiencing the story. I think it's interesting to see his reactions to the series via the abridged series, and how at least from where I am (Didn't start from the beginning) they try to hide spoilers and let the one guy experience it all for the first time. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... uUqYHYCtiv
Calvin's reactions are the best, like a wide eyed kid at Christmas opening presents.

Goku's Super Saiyan song at the start of the episode. It's a cover/parody of this 'Giant Woman' song from Steven Universe. I haven't seen the show yet either, but I have some friends that like it, so I've heard some of the songs from it and such.

I'm looking to start up a DragonFacts series where I cover obscure (to the fanbase at large) facts about the series, and I'm planning on having a couple different people provide voices. I'd love for you to come on sometime and provide a voice; your DragonBall Dissection videos are a godsend to me.
You'd better believe I will be there!
Do you follow the most comprehensive and entertaining Dragon Ball analysis series on YouTube? If you do, you're smart and awesome and fairly attractive. If not, see what all the fuss is about without even having to leave Kanzenshuu:
I love TFS and their DBZ abridged series, and it's a funny parody series. My only gripe is their version of Goku. He is almost as dumb as Homer Simpson. I understand their personalities are supposed to be exaggerated, but his "I'm a moron" schtick annoys me. Seeing my favorite character as a dimwitted imbecile makes me cringe.
The Scene of Goku singing to Gohan was one of the most touching scenes I've ever seen from Goku in all of Dragonball. He's an idiot yes but his heart is in the right place.
