WHAT IF:
Piccolo , rather than fusing with kami, uses HTC / ROSAT to get the same power boost as he got by fusion. Goku still brings dende as a safety measure as piccolo's death may be possible. How is the story affected?

So Piccolo wastes an entire day to get the same boost as he would if he'd just fused with Kami? Then everyone else dies from Cell within that 24 hours while Cell still gains power from absorbing Humans, and when Piccolo finally comes out of the chamber, he finds himself still outclassed. GG.

Well in canon he wasted an entire day waiting for Kami to let them fuse. So going into the Rosat would actually be a much more prudent idea

Bebi probably have taken over Vegeta's body if he went in Space with Goku. Bebi would have remember Vegeta and try to taken over his body unless Goku and Vegeta together kill him quickly. I think the Super 17 saga would have happen since Dr. Myuu would want revenge on Goku.

1) Cell would never reach his perfect form, as there'd be no reason for him to hesitate to shut #17 off. He was able to get close enough to #18 to shut her off without noticing, so assuming he could do the same with #17 (no reason why he shouldn't), then he'd shut #17 off, Cell wouldn't be able to absorb him, and then Trunks would most likely finish him off.

2) I don't really see much anything changing. Vados seems to be more or less just as accommodating to Champa as Whis is to Beerus, so I doubt there's much anything that would change. At most, I imagine that maybe Vados would be less scornful of any planets that Beerus destroyed, just due to her reluctant willingness to destroy planets when Champa was ordering her to.

- Kuririn would never hesitate and would destroy 17.And Cell would never achieve his Perfect form and would get killed by either Vegeta or Trunks,If this happens after Cell tricks Vegeta for absorbing 18,Vegeta would probably be mad as shit to Kuririn and would probably want to kill him at first.

- Nothing change that much except Goku and Vegeta trains with Vados.
