There's a video with a shaky shot of a half page for Extreme Butoden in V-Jump this month. It looks like Trunks' Time Machine is going to be an assist, and maybe the Time kaioshin too? Or perhaps she just sends the time machine or something? Doesn't look like there is anything to follow up on for the new modes or anything though...

Time Kaioshin and Time Machine are two different strikers

I got the game for Christmas and it's a fun game. However I find the story mode to be very weak. I beat the Vegeta saga last night and I find it hardly a what if story. The game said it's a what if, but it hardly feels like one. You have SSj Vegeta against Freeza and that was it.

Try Adventure mode, it's a complete what if story.

I beat Adventure Mode tonight. The story makes no sense and it's all over the place. I do admit that this game is fun overall and I give it a 7/10. If it had a few more characters on the roster and had a better written plot for Adventure Mode then I would give it a higher score. Super Yi Xing Long is the main villain of the story and he's not playable. Some of the assist fighters should have been on the main roster in my opinion. I hope we get a sequel soon.

But still no update for the NA version? :(

I guess it'll either come at a much later date(hopeful) or it just wont come at all. I do wonder how the game has done so far in NA in terms of sales.

I'm almost certain the Super Butoden 2 download code was a pre-order bonus for those who bought the physical version on Amazon. It's hard to say if they'll release it any other way.

I got this yesterday and I have to say it's really fun. I bought off e-shop so I still got Dragon Ball Z Super Butoden 2 downloaded + a theme for my 2DS. I love ultimate level moves like 'Spirit bomb' feel ultimate as you can't just spam them like other DBZ games. I see people saying SSJ4 Brolly is in , does that mean other what if ones or transformatons from heroes are like SSJ3 Vegeta ect.... Also can you play as blue haired Goku + vegeta and Golden Frieza ?

SS4 Broli and SS4 Gohan are support/strikers so far in the Japanese version only. If you wanna count SS Burdock as a what-if transformation he has that I think. Golden Freeza is also a striker. SS Blue Goku is unlockable.

SSGSS Goku is unlockable through a button combination posted earlier in the thread. Same goes for Golden Freeza and SSGSS Vegeta. Those were also posted earlier in the thread.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

I finally got this game yesterday. The story mode is indeed very texty (is that a word) and works like a visual novel. Since I'm cool with Visual novels I'm cool with this, the music is, to my surprise quite enjoyable, there are some synthetized orchestra tracks that do sound good enough, the graphics are beautiful.

The story plays out REALLY FAST, like, you finish a fight, they talk and 30 episodes go by. lol. But I guess that's good. The battles load really quickly, which is nice.

The game is decent, and quite probably only DB fans will enjoy it a lot. I don't see Tekken fans or Street Fighters wanting this on their 3DS if they don't happen to be DBZ fans too.

All in All, for a DB Fan it might go to a 7-8/10 rating. For other people I guess it's would only go up to 5/10.

EDIT: After Thoughts.

Ok, so I played through the whole Team Dragon saga (first story mode) and well, while the scene music is nice, it's hella repetitive. You basically hear the same track in ALL chapters, it gets annoying, the battle music is, however good.

After completing the Team Dragons saga you get the character sagas, which are what if stories, I'm on Goku saga, just beat vegeta and so far, no changes have been made to the story even if it is a what if. perhaps later?.
There's room for only one snake, and one big boss.

My favourite part of the story is it does not know what "What if" means. Goku's what if literally has him go through moments of the series I think only 18 was a "what if" fight

Am I the only one that feels like it's strange that despite Super Saiyan 4s, Pan, Super 17, and the Evil Dragons in the game... there's no representation of the Machine Mutant/Baby arc at all?
