Your least liked character/villain/transformation designs

As in the title. What are your least liked designs for villains, main characters or forms/transformations from the show?

For me it's proably LSSJ Broly. I enjoy Broly's base design and base SSJ. Both look fitting with the Saiyan role but still strong.


LSSJ form though is very off-putting to me. Completly disproportionate (way worse than buffed SSJ Trunks) and the white eyes and annoying smirk only emphasize his utter stupidity. Smash-smash fighting drone who has nothing going for him other than being overpowered and the ultimate power fantasy for cheap fanservice points.

Super Android 13. He turns blue for some reason, has that Broly build which is just horrible all around, the hair makes no sense, since #13 has long hair, yet when it rises up it looks like Vegeta's (when it should probably look more like Future Trunks'). The gray plates are totally random. Pretty much everything about him sucks.

Qi Xing Long with Pan absorbed from GT. A giant mole, but also kind of a snake. Genius right? WRONG!

Bojack's final form. He has a very cool desing in the regular state, really looking like a Space Pirate... but his grand transformation is turning a different kind of green. Bonus points for the Broly-build.

Super Android 13. I think the awful color selection is what puts the nail in the coffin of that design. Looks so.... amateur

I really don't like Demigra's dragon/demon form. Its just a really weird disconnect for me. We go from a rather dignified looking villain (He reminds me of Dhoulmagus from DQ8.) to...a dragon. Yeah ok, I don't know how we got from Wizard to Dragon but yeah ok! That and the form just looks bad.

Another one is the SSJ grades, they just...didn't last long, they didn't look good and overall felt like a throwaway idea.

The Legendary Super Saiyan transformation ruins Broly's fantastic design and is just the culmination of everything wrong with the series.

Also Monaka shows Toriyama's predictability.

In terms of anime characters, Garlic Jr's henchmen in the anime were boring and generic. The ones in Movie 1 were a lot more interesting.

Also the two who transform just get stronger with more muscles.

Garlic Jr's final form is my least favorite as far as main villains go. It's such a boring/bland design.

LSSJ Broly looks awesome (not as great as his base though), especially in his brief Bio Broly appearance:

He's not everything wrong with the series. He consists of the main ingredients many fans desire in a major villain. His dreadful backstory and personality in his base form are his biggest flaws, imo. If anything, he represents everything Super is in desperate need of.

How? It's the same exact personality as his LSSJ form! I'm referring to him without the mind control. With it, he didn't have much of a personality to begin with though. He alternated from bland follower to spazzed out mental patient.

Super Artificial Human No. 17, no contest. Just everything about his design screamed ugly and couldn't be further removed from what actually made No. 17 an interesting character. At least in Heroes they gave him back his eyebrows.

I like the idea of him not being in control of his power, resulting in an incredibly unstable condition. But as far as his actual personality, there was nothing there. This base Broly should have been explored so much more. Of course, with the backstory they gave him, he was ruined from the start...

I'm torn between SSJG and SSJGSSJ. The first one gives Goku a sickly emaciated appearance that seems to badly contrast with the exuberance and physical vigour that his character is known for. If the design makers were aspiring for a leaner design then they could have used Goku's 23rd Budokai look as an inspirational blueprint instead of deflating the bulging exaggerated muscles from later arcs.

SSJGSSJ looks like a reskin of normal SSJ1 except for the aura. By the way, I have to say, the paleness of the hair stands out in a glaring manner with the appearance of Goku and Vegeta given in the above image. This is especially true for Goku because of his orange Gi.

I didn't like Hirudegarn's transformation. I much preferred the bone-mask appearance of the first form.

Yes! I agree with the Demigra statement, he literally looks like a Heartless from Kingdom Hearts! (Not hating on KH, love the games)

This. Dear God this. That was the reason I dislike SSJG but I couldn't articulate it properly; it's not that Goku has become slender, it's like his muscles have just deflated. It made him look awkward or sickly or something.

Add too-big kawaii eyes and plastic shade of red/magneta and we got a really unappealing new transformation that doesn't even have anything significantly unique about itself to counter the negativities. SSB ain't much better to bo honest, the proportions of the character and detail are good to look at (as they're exactly the same as in SSJ1) but the cyan/blue color is really eye-soaring, aprticularly in combination with intense aura and works worse with other colors than blonde did.

SSJ4 was much better design than both. Less is not always more.

By FAR, most disgusting piece of shit.

Garbage villain with puke-inducing character design.

Not to forget his god awful voice (i respect Hidekatsu Shibata's work in FMAB as Bradley, but it seemed like it was the only worthy role he has played. He's been type-cast in so many similar roles that its boring as shit)

Never before had a "thing" ever annoyed me to such extent

And his OvetPowering by certain section of fans (like how he ROFL STomped SSJ4, easily da strongest Saiyan form in existence) doesnt improve his imagr either

Just strip his Ball's absorbed powers like Regen, Dragon Thunder etc & you'll watch Buuhan fartin all over this shit
