I'm not much of a gamer, but I may actually get the Xenoverse game for Xbox 1. I read reviews online, and it has its ups and downs. But I would like someone's opinion on here who has played the game.

The main thing that is enticing to me is the single player mode. Story sounds interesting.

The story mode is fairly enjoyable. I recommend the game, especially as cheap as it is now. You might wait and see if anything pans out with a sequel (which is probable--my fuckin' body is ready), but if you're on the fence I definitely think you should. I have the PS4 version and lots of people still play it, so I imagine the Xbone can't be too far behind.

I have been playing the PC version again with a friend recently and found the questing to be more active than usual, no doubt players coming back to join sale-buyer newcomers. Routinely see four online quests going and anything I open fills up fairly quickly.

Do they maintain servers anymore for the ps4 version? Frankly, I bougth the game, but barely ever played it...

Also, is there a way to "cheat" to achieve all things in the game? I really don't have the patience, or want to sit down and play this for hours...

Why did you buy it then?

There's no way to cheat your way to 100% as far as I know.

Um nope gotta earn it all from skills to xp although i think on occasions they will have these short periods of time where they give out extra xp and zeni

The RNG is fine, the problem is theres 2 different layers of RNG. Theres the RNG to get the Ultimate Finish portion of the mission, and then another RNG for the loot that comes with those UT portions.

A sequel won't be out for another year from now at this rate. I think picking up the first game now to hold you over is not a bad idea. Xenoverse is a fun game, but could need some major work. 7.5/10 is the best rating I would give it.

That's good to hear. I haven't played in a while. I loved the game, but it really is the type that required consistent updates. Everything is so redundant. I mean, how often can you play the same quests? Especially when you reach higher levels and are trying to get XP, you can only realistically play like 2 or 3 quests. I really wish they would've added more content and that the quests progressed the story. I hope the sequel has more of an mmo field.
