Should the Freeza movie get extended scenes like Beerus?
Should the Freeza movie get extended scenes like Beerus?
The Beerus movie got some extended scenes that added to the film after the original got cut out. After seeing Super, do you think an "extended cut" of Ressurection of F should be released with scenes such as showing Goten/Trunks appear, Togama survive and get taken over by Ginyu, and Goku powering down to his base form before getting shot?
I like some of the new ideas in Super, but the poor animation really takes me out of it. I'd love to see some of Super's scenes in movie animation. Keep Piccolo alive though, that was pointless.

One could say Movie 15's extended version is the Toei's version in Dragon Ball Super... Which well... It is a bad extended version. And particularly, I don't think extra scenes would make up for the bad movie that it is.
Re: Should the Freeza movie get extended scenes like Beerus?
Trunks/Goten's appearance in Super version of F arc took about 5 seconds and competes hard with Ginuy's return for the title of the most pointless and lazy executed change/extension.
So if potentially the extended cut was done better then yes, but if it was written the same way as in Super, just with better animation then they shouldn't bother.

Yes. I'd prefer it over the DBS arc TBH.
Cool stuff that I upload here because Youtube will copyright claim it: https://vimeo.com/user60967147

What we got in BOG was already produced with the rest of the movie so all they had to do was put it back in for the TV broadcast.
If they wanted to add what you brought up, not only would they have to go back and produce it from scratch but they'd also have to remake a lot of scenes in order for it to make sense.

July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

I think it's fine the way it is. I can't really see anything that would be worthwhile to add. They would have to change up a lot of stuff to include some of the thing Super did.

I fucking hope so. If they could include scenes such as Freeza's training, some more stuff prior to Freeza's arrival to Earth, extend Piccolo's fight with Shisami, make the ending longer and include some more goofy shit like they did with the extended version of BoG then I will have the biggest smile on my face. If Super is the extended version of Resurrection 'F'... then I'm disappointed.

The extended version is Super.
If there wasn't Super, I could see ROF get that treatment.

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Hell fucking yes. I love Resurrection F but there were some major missed opportunity. Especially surrounding Freeza. Some extra information about his race and his training method for reaching his Golden Form would have been greatly fascinating.
Spoiler:
Re: Should the Freeza movie get extended scenes like Beerus?
No because it means I'll have bought the standard edition on Blu Ray and then some months down the line they'll release an extended edition and I wouldn't want to buy it again, so I'd download it and would never watch the version I payed for again.
Re: Should the Freeza movie get extended scenes like Beerus?
I think we've kind of passed the threshold for that.
Not that I don't think a hilarious, inverted-version-of-Goku's-training-methods montage needs to exist for Freeza, because it does. Like, fuck torturing an underling for a few months when he could have had an amazing, ~evil~ martial-arts journey, then come to Earth and realized he was one color scheme behind the curve.
But oh well.
