jcogginsa, since you're outlining the first chapter, maybe I can give my thoughts on how to outline the tournament

64 fighters, 4 slots to fill, 1 slot equals one bracket of 16 fighters. Fighters fall into 4 classifications:

A: Final Gods - The Gods and Demigods in the end who will join Goku in the 4 slots. They move all the way to the Finals.
B: Gods - The Gods and Demigods who won't win in the end, whether they will battle each other, Final Gods, or the next class-
C: Rivals - Fighters who are there to make the battles less straightforward. To prevent readers from believing all Gods will make it to the finals or semifinals, a rival will effectively get lucky and take out a Class B God. Otherwise they will face each other, or destroy the last class
D: Fodder - Everyone else. They are lucky to make it to the quarterfinals.

So far we know that 32 fighters will fall in the preliminaries, they for sure a Fodder, though we can subvert that by having Gods or Rivals lose in Round 1, and have the remaining Fodder lose in Round 2 Then there are the 4 Final Gods, and 10-11 Gods. That would leave 17-18 remaining fighters, we could place them in the Rival Class.

As for Fuu, why not have him enthrall Beers in an illusion? Then Fuu can go on with his plan unabated

That startled me! I have to be more careful now that I have lulled them into a false sense of security... thought Fuu as he and his vanguard departed back from which they came.

Randomized Tournement sheet? Also i forgot Gohan vs. Yamcha, Mecha Goku vs. Super 13, and Mecha Goku vs. 16

Wheelo may be your best bet there.

I just can't see him losing to Uekuma, and since he's Yamcha, he can't make it past the first round XD
