I think you missed the part where I differentiated the Mecha Gokus:
1) The original, the leader. Looks like adult Goku, but if enough damage is done to him, he looks like Metallo (from Superman) / The Terminators until the nanomachines kick in.
The next three are what replaced the Cyclopian Guards / Meta Coolers from the Big Gete Star:
2) Kid Mecha Goku wearing the Blue Gi you see Goku wear at the beginning of Dragon Ball.
3) Kid Mecha Goku wearing the Kame Gi.
4) Kid Mecha Goku wearing Goku's Dragon Ball GT Gi.
The Kid Mecha Gokus are not as powerful, but have access to all of Goku's move when he was a child.

Spoiler:

1. The Double Gohan's is actually deliberate. It's to set up a match between the regular Gohan and the Gohan who kept up his training. I think a fight between them has good potential to develop both their characters. There are two Vegeta's in Bracket Four because I think a match between those two would be fun. As for Mecha Goku and Piccolo, I'll see what I can do
2. I thought Uekuma's ambush tactics would work better for what I have in mind. If Shadow asks i'll switch it back
3. Slug is about one third of his universe's Tullece in strength, and his universe's Tullece is around god level. King Cold meanwhile max's out at Super Saiyan 2 level. Celipa in her universe is a Super Saiyan Two as well, but has some old war injuries that hold her back just enough for Kold to win
4. I'll see if I can rearrange this

My reasonings (Only gonna cover the ones you weren't sure of, plus the ones I picked different)

1. I think Roshi vs. Bardock would be a more interesting fight that Baba vs. Bardock in Round two. Baba's magic tricks will be a challenge for Roshi but not one that's impossible for him to over come
2. Ithink Garlic should win this one because it would provide interesting Drama going into the next round. Garlic would feel he needs to win to avange his fallen brother. It'd give the matches more dramatic weight. And of course, to have that be the case Tsukemono needs to beat Cell Jr.
3. Recoome should win to show Burter and Jeice that Demigra's Power up really can give them a shot
4. This is to set up a Piccolo Tagoma match in Round two. We can also use it to give Jeice's round two match more weight.
5. I think Tien would make a better final opponent for Cooler than Uub
6. I have Kakarot over Jaco because i think a Kakarot vs. Bojack match would be more interesting in Round Two
7. This one could go either way power level wise, but in terms of Story i think Tullece provides more opportunities. He's strong but unskilled, which means he might have some trouble beating Hoi, and Tullece vs. Vegeta for the last match of the bracket seems like a better choice than Pan vs. Vegeta
8. I think Piccolo has more character, which will make for a more interesting round 2 match than Nawamuto

Not yet.

The way I figure it, the process will be

1. We outline each chapter
2. Once we've confirmed the outline, we each claim scenes from the outline and right them out
3. Once everything is written I'll compile them together and publish them as a chapter, giving credit where due of course.

If a writer has a spur of the moment idea, they're free to write it out, and i'll try to fit it into the chapter if I can.

Though as always, if someone else has a better idea of how to write this i'm open to suggestions

Here's a rough outline of the First Chapter. This one's probably a bit longer than what will be the usual length of our chapters.

Scene One
- We began just after Champa has left. Beerus is thinking about Champa's challenge and thinking of who he'll put on his team. He says Goku is a given, as he gave Beerus "His Greatest Challenge Yet"

-Goku pipes in with a suggestion that Beerus hold a tournament. Whis thinks it's a good idea and Beerus comes around to it. Goku gets excited, but Beerus bluntly tells him he can't compete, since he's already been picked for the team.

-Vegeta gets annoyed that he isn't also already on the team. Beerus says he's actually had a serious fight with Goku, and that's why he gets an automatic in. Beerus then glares at Vegeta and asks him if he wants to "Have a try out." Vegeta nonchalantly says "A tournament could be interesting"

-Goku asks who else would be in the tournament. Beerus says he have the Supreme Kai of Time gather Fighters from across the alternate timelines. Goku is confused, and says "I thought you had to make a team from this universe?"

- Whis explains the difference between a Timeline and a Universe. Each Universe has multiple timelines, managed by the Supreme Kai of Time, and that the Primary Timeline is whichever one the Hakaishin lives on. There's only one Beerus in all the time stream. Any object he destroys here is destroyed in all other Timelines as well

-Goku still doesn't get it. The others face palm

Scene Two
- The Supreme Kai of time is freaking out because of Beerus' demands. She states that there are all sorts of rules about this kind of thing, but Beerus doesn't care, and forces her to agree. He tells Whis to help her set up the Tournament grounds and leaves.

Scene Three
- Whis and the Supreme Kai of Time arrive on a barren world. Whis comments on the desolation and the Supreme Kai of Time states that this is an earth on which all signs of life were wiped out. She picked it in order to minimize the damage if the fights get out of hand.

-Whis creates the the tournament arena with magic materialization. The Arena is large, and contains the ring itself, stands for spectators, boxes for each Timeline's fighters, and other amenities.

Scene Four

- Several of the fighters have arrived, and others are arriving through a portal. The T1 characters (minus Goku) arrive and are greeted by Whis. Whis asks whose fighting. Vegeta, Piccolo, Gohan, Goten, and Trunks step forward, but Whis says there's only four fighters allowed from each universe, so Goten and Trunks say they'll fuse and compete as Gotenks. Whis gives the fighters each a bandana with the number of their universe on it.

-Goku notes that Gohan is dressed as Saiyaman, and Gohan nervously replies that he still can't find his Gi. Piccolo narrows his eyes, and thinks to himself that there's more to it than that.

-Chichi and the Ox King, present as Spectators, look around. Ox King points someone out of the crowd. The group is surprised to see An elderly looking Goku dressed in saiyan clothes.

Scene Five

- The man they were pointing two Is actually Bardock. He's standing with a group of other saiyans, namely Gine, Celipa, Raditz, and Nappa. Only Bardock and Celipa are wearing Headbands, bearing the number 4. Celipa is missing an arm and one of her eyes is robotic. Bardock's tail is also missing. Bardock makes an offhand comment to Nappa to look left. Nappa does so and sees the Saibamen of Timeline 8.

-Timeline 2's Baba approaches Bardock. Bardock and Baba have a confusing conversation, wherein both see what the other is about to say and pre-emptively answer it. Baba walks away giggling, whilst Bardock is just annoyed.

-Raditz comments that Vegeta is missing out, prompting Bardock to comment that he doesn't really give a damn about an ex-prince that's stuck in the past. Celipa replies, asking where "The other two" are. Bardock says they went to see if any alternate versions of themselves were competing.

- Bardock notices Gine staring at looking at someone. Bardock glances in that direction, and sees Timeline 9 Kakarot talking with his brothers. Gine says it's nice to know that some versions of their son grew up to be strong fighters. Bardock holds her tightly and says "Strong fighters are nice, but I prefer our Kakarot. He reminds me of you."

Scene 6

- The there are only four people from Timeline 9, All wearing headbands and clothes bearing Kami's Insignia. Their leader, Garlic Jr. (in a form which is half way between his normal and powered up forms), notices Cell Jr. is looking nervous. He gets down on one knee and gives Cell Jr. a pep talk.

-Piccolo notices Kakarot staring at something, and looks to see what. He sees android 16 standing with 17, 18, and Doctor Gero, wearing Headbands with the number 6 on them. Kakarot says he's glad some version of 16 got to live, but Piccolo reminds him that Dr. Gero is standing next to him. Kakarot says it's possible Doctor Gero is good in that universe, but Piccolo says they'll see.

-16 and Gero are talking about birds.

Scene 7

-On a nearby ridge, another version of Androids 17 and 18 are watching the people gather. As it turns out, this is an earth where they wiped everyone out. The Supreme Kai of Time had forgotten to search for androids on this earth, and thought it was abandoned.

- 17 and 18 talk about seeing familiar faces in the crowd. 18 wonders if "That creepy bug guy" is there and 17 says that if he is they'll just kill him again.

-They continue watching, and 17 notices Dr. Gero. He points Gero out to 18 and 18 says she know who they'll kill first.

- 17 and 18 rush in to kill Gero. T6 17 and T6 18 invervene and knock the two homicidal androids out in a single blow.

Scene 8

-The Ginyu force watch 17 and 18 get knocked out and comment on their weakness. Burter points out that the fighters were moving pretty fast, but Ginyu scoffs and says the body he's in was a legendary Super Saiyan even stronger than Frieza. He'll be able to win this no problem.

-Jeice says it might not be that easy, and points to another man who looks just like the Captain's body. And he's wearing a headband too, with a number 3 on it

Scene 9

-Timeline 3 Cell notices his friend looking tense, and asks him what's wrong. Broly doesn't answer, but glances at a Goku with inhuman looking eyes, wearing a number 15 headband. Cell notices and says he thought he'd moved past that. Broly says he did, but Kakarot still puts him in a bad mood

- Dabura and Ledgic, also wearing Timeline 3 Headbands, walk up with bowls of food. Broly asks wear they got it, sounding excited at the prospect of food. Dabura points to a food stand being run by another alternate Kakarot. Broly curses, prompting Cell to laugh.

Scene 10

- We see a meeting of Frieza, Kold, and Cooler. Kold bears a number 7 headband, Frieza has number 5, and Cooler wears a number 3. Kold greets Frieza warmly, and says it's good to see you. Frieza is also pleased to see his father, but warns him that if they meet in the tournament "I'll give you a chance to surrender, but that's all the mercy I have to give." Kold brushes the implied threat off and just says he's glad to see his son.

-Cooler makes a cutting remark about Kold not being so excited to see him, but Frieza cuts in and says Cooler hasn't crossed either of their minds since Frieza killed him when they were children. Kold backs Frieza up, prompting Cooler to say that if he encounters either of them in the tournament, he'll kill them. Salza clears his throat and Cooler adds "For justice." Then turns to leave

-A ways away, Timeline 7 Jaco and Bulma are watching, and wondering who Kold was talking to. They don't have any records of anyone matching Frieza or Cooler's descriptions. They hear someone chuckling, and turn around to see Bebi

- Bebi grins seeing the intimidated looks on their face and says not to worry, as he has little time for small fry. Bulma gets mad and says mark her words, she will liberate the earth from the Tuffle empire.

- Elsewhere, Timeline Five Gohan and Piccolo watch Frieza and Kold talk. Piccolo states the were lucky when Whis arrived with the tournament invites, as without the interruption Frieza probably would have killed them both and everyone on earth. Gohan says that may have been the case then, but he's worked out a few new tricks sense then. Piccolo warns him not to play them too early. He hasn't had time to reach a new level of power, so if he can't nail Frieza with the Element of Surprise, then he doesn't have a shot.

Scene 11

-The Timeline 16 characters arrive, and headbands are Given to Uub, Pan, Vegeta, and Nova. Pan looks around enthuesiastically, and spots Tullece of Universe 13. She asks if that's her grandpa, but Vegeta states that it's actually an old enemy of Goku named Tullece. Uub point out that he staring and three other people, the other fighters from his universe. And one of them is Rildo. Vegeta scoffs and says by this point all four of them can handle Rildo

Scene 12

- The gates to the arena begin to open

- High in the Air, Beerus makes a speech to the crowd, reading off of notes on his arm at several points. When he finishes, Whis claps for him as says it was an excellent rehearsal. Beerus asks what he's talking about, and Whis says none of them heard him because he forgot his microphone.

-Angry, Beerus curses and grabs the mike. He yells "Get in the Arena you idiots! It's time to start!"
