I'm shocked
Is it possible? Why is it possible? Is it any good? And most importantly, will it play imports?
(Not directly related to DBZ, I know, but I started hunting when I came to the conclusion that my SNES just doesn't work anymore. I want to play the DBZ imports, but first I'd need an SNES... So please don't lock this until some light is shed on this.)

I've actually seen that before. The deal is that the NES and SNES consoles are so old and have been out of production so long that I believe Nintendo has actually let all their rights to the hardware expire. So now anybody can really make one. The specs are exactly the same as the original consoles and since those two could play imports anyway, this should as well. I've never used one but have heard nothing but good things about them, so much that I've actually been considering getting one myself.

Well, The FC could stand for FamiCom, making it the "FamiCom Twin". It doesn say SFC anywhere, so it probably only plays regular Famicom/NES games. It's a nice looking console though. Very futuristic.

It uses strictly SNES controllers only. And it has two slots on it, one for NES and one for SNES.
If that doesnt say "it plays both, especially SNES" then I don't know what does.
I also found a better link for that site, it just looks better lol.

There's even a listing on amazon, which has a nice review for it.

Um, before EX comes in, this is a DRAGONBALL games forum, not general games.

You might wanna avoid unlicensed NES clones since they run on an "NES on a chip" which results in messed up sound and not so pristine graphics.
Your best bet is to get a 2nd top loading famicom which looks like the 2nd NES model. It doesn't go for cheap ($99+), but it's beyond worth it.

What? No, I don't have a dedicated tower hooked to my TV for retro gaming that handles everything PSX and back.

I did it mainly because my old games break and I'm screwed, and they look horrible when hooked up to my television (whee, coaxial Genesis on a 42" 720p television!). Emulation lets me apply filters to make them look acceptable (HQ4X anyone?), and keep my copies pristine for collector's purposes.
