DBZ PS2 games on the PS4?

Do you guys think Namco Bandai will ever put PS2 DBZ games on the PS4 since they are now allowing downloadable PS2 (maybe PS1) games on the PS4. It would be nice to have Budokai 1-3, the Sparking/Tenkachi games and Super DBZ playable on the PS4.

I'd buy them all, specially the Budokai Tenkaichi series since it didn't get the HD treatment.

Could they edit Budokai 1-3 and Sparking 1-3 with a new music soundtrack?

They pretty much did... Budokai HD Collection (containing 1 & 3) has replaced non-Yamamoto music. And the last 2 Sparking!/Tenkaichi games have non-Yamamoto BGM for their international versions. The only weird one I could see would be Tenkaichi 3/Sparking! METEOR having Super Survivor replaced.

I highly doubt it. Although there were a few leaks of Star Wars games going up on the service, I wouldn't hold my breath for DB games on the service. Aside from various Disney licenses, very few licensed games actually get on these types of services.

I'd also be surprised that Bandai Namco would put in extra effort to older DB titles on the service.

And this is all ignoring the Yamamoto fiasco.

We got a HD remaster of Budokai 1 & 3 a couple years ago. So a re-release of Super DBZ and Tenkachi 3 on PS4 PSN could still be possible

I think a Tenkaichi re-release is more probable than a Super DBZ re-release, purely because the Tenkaichi series is far more well known among casual fans.

Unfortunately.

I don't see them releasing any of the PS2 titles for the PS4 as classics anyway since I really doubt they'll manage to get just a quarter of PS2's library and if they do they'll more likely to release more non-niche and non-licensed titles anyway.

I would love for them to prove me wrong and release BT3, Infinite World and Super DBZ, but they don't want our money.

The GTA games on the service removed some tracks, so I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that they could insert replacement music.

If something like this was in the offing, I'd be surprised if they went straight to the Playstation Store. Namco Bandai would probably released a boxed version or a collectors release first like they did with the Budokai remasters.

So Sony has been asking for requests for PS2 games to be re-released on PS4. You can tweet your PlayStation backward compatibility suggestions to Sony using the hashtag "‪#‎ps2ps4‬" on Twitter. With enough demand, I think Sony can have Namco Bandai put the PS2 DBZ games on the PS4. I already see a lot of people asking for the Tenkachi Budokai games and Budokai 1-3 on Twitter. Let's try to put even more demand into it.

Budokai 3 would have a better chance given how there is more demand for it. IW is not as popular as Budokai 3.

Budokai 3 and Budokai 1 already go re-released for the PS3 though and it wasn't that successful. Hell, it never even got released in Japan.

Why would you want Budokai Remaster when you could play God of War Remastered?

It would be great to play Budokai Tenkaichi 2 again in the PS4 but sadly that's unlikely to happen
