U6, on the other hand, sounds like it has a lot of strong groups coexisting with each other. Might be problematic if somebody tries to cause chaos or something. Hmmm.

The Saiyans are peaceful and Frost doesn't seem to be bad so his race is probably peaceful as well which leaves hit and his race as the potential troublemakers.

That's what I figure as well, but I suppose there's always a chance that a few bad eggs among the Saiyans or the "Freeza clan" pop up. Hit's race is probably the most likely though, since I think that Toriyama might actually want to run with this idea of Vegeta and Goku at least briefly interacting with other Saiyans. Another bad Freeza character would be admittedly unlikely as well since it is overdone and they probably wouldn't be as strong as Frost (unless he has a parent or something). If they go the "problematic group rises up" route in U6, I'd also bet on Hit's race if we are just going off of the aliens at the tournament. Then again, we don't even know if Hit is good or bad yet.

Very true, but I think you (sort of) answered your own question. There's so little to go off of based on what little we do know that it is hard to speculate about what if any major role he will play. In a Toriyama work you should never fall into this trap, but he in particular doesn't strike me as being a major player in a conflict (at least as far as being an antagonist goes). I think he might be a "good" or "neutral" guy. I'm not ruling him out completely, but I guess I'm sort of unfairly taking more notice of Hit based on his description and appearance. Knowing Toriyama, Magetta probably will play a big role haha.

I'm just pulling stuff out of my ass because speculating is fun.

At this point, Champ could send a fucking battalion and every member of team Uni 6 to hit the ring and attack Goku, and he'll still find a way to kick out and Kamehameha every last one of them.

That was the pass mark in the University I went to for tests and coursework. Of course, this is the UK I'm talking about, so it's kinda the standard here. I'm not sure what the pass mark would be in other countries around the world.

My Uni pass mark was 35%

Nah, but that guy from Muscle Tower came to mind. The one Goku froze by breaking the wall. They mentioned Botamo is slippery, maybe he can get to a point were punches and kicks can't touch him.
This would making him dangerous without powering-up. Hopefully Goku would use his brains, instead of brawl.

I do want to see more of him, I love alien machine races (Hell I love Mecha in general.) and the fact that Magetta is considered strong enough to stand on that stage makes me very curious! His size also makes me wonder if he has some sort of cast off ability that lets him shed his bulkier parts. With how his head is designed and the magma being shown in his chest though, I'm sure one of his attacks is spewing lava everywhere, or fire breath. (Also I wonder if the magma windows are a long walk joke on Mazinger's Breast Fire attack.) But I swear...he better have a damn Rocket Punch!

Also I gotta point out, Magetta really gives off design cues from The Iron Giant. Just nice classic machine man design. Love it.

Don't get me wrong, the U6 Saiyan stuff sounds cool and there'll probably more to come for the rest but I don't get the hype for them, they're just decent designs so far with nary a hint of abilities or personality to speak of right now. I really don't get the excitement.

Don't get me wrong, the U6 Saiyan stuff sounds cool and there'll probably more to come for the rest but I don't get the hype for them, they're just decent designs so far with nary a hint of abilities or personality to speak of right now. I really don't get the excitement.

It's not so much the characters themselves for me, but rather the possibilites they could bring. We don't know much to anything about them, and like I said, its fun to speculate. We might be disappointed when we find out how everything and everyone plays out, but this is fun, for now. Heck I could care less about Cabba him/herself, I just want to know more about the U6 Saiyans and more about this weird dynamic they seem to have in this universe.

You are probably right about all that honestly, but like I said, I'm just enjoying it for now. I'm not upset about Boo, because other than his abilities I don't really find him very interesting, but it still is weird regardless since they even went so far as to put Boo on the poster. I hope they at least give him some other type of role in this story.

I dunno, I'm probably being too optimistic, but I like the potential that is here. Whether or not Toriyama or Toei will capitalize on this potential remains to be seen and recently neither party has shown too much to prove that wrong other than Battle of Gods, but I still recognize the cool stuff that could come out of all this. Still, I'm not raising my hopes too high.

I don't think Boo will pass the written test since he matches the description of a "dumb monster". My guess is that it will either be Gotenks or Gohan who fights.

Really interesting chapter I was almost sure from the start that buu will not pass the written exam.

I wanna see piccolo at least win a fight, I think the only fight he will win is against magetta.

All five of the universe 6 team seems to have interesting ability's. You can even tell by how there designs are exactly like Akira's Dragon Quest designs and he designs some of the ability they use in Dragon Quest.

Isn't サラダ how the english word "salad" is written in japanese ? Then the planet's name shouldn't be Salad ?

It is but the introduction of the word in Japan most likely wasn't from English-speaking countries because some European countries do call it "salada", which is exactly how the Japanese pronounce it.
