If we count filler and all I think the the OSSJ destroyed their original planet which forced the Sayians to conquer planet Plant and they renamed it planet Vegeta after the king.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
So nobody commented on a question I posted earlier, so I'll ask it again in a slightly different way. Are the announcer and related characters in this chapter Majin (魔人) like Buu? They seem to have the same antenna and ears as Buu. Maybe they're U6 Majin?

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
As per translation by Herms based on what was said on the Super website:
On these bolded lines, it's implied they are hiding something. Hit is said to possess some dangerous traits, and Frost is the emperor of 6th Universe. That kind of implies that they are borderline of being the threats to the heroes.Hit: With his cool outfit that looks like he's wearing a long coat, no matter how you look at him there's no doubt this guy is a force to be reckoned with!! Even the name "Hit" smells of danger...
Cabba: Universe 6 has a Saiyan of its own!! That's Cabba!! His battle fatigues seem to have quite a different design than those worn by Vegeta and the other Saiyans of Universe 7, but just how powerful is he...!?
Frost: "...Huh!? This guy looks familar...!!" If that's what you were thinking, then you're right on the money!! This guy is the emperor of Universe 6, and has something to hide!! Meaning that this is his first form...!?
Botamo: With his ursine features, you can tell at a glance that Botama is confident in his strength!! All we know right now is that his entire body is smooth and hairless!!
Magetta: Something is burning inside his body, and smoke rises from his head!! Though he looks just like a robot, he's actually a species of alien known as a "Metal Man". What kind of moves will he unleash!?

From Frost line, I just got he's hiding other tranformations.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Piccolo said that Frost didn't have a violent aura, and I doubt we'd have another Freeza. Being an emperor doesn't imply that he's evil.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I've seen those, and while I personally think that Hit could definitely be an antagonist and his description might point to that, its still pretty vague. I interpreted the "he has something to hide" line from Frost to mean he has extra forms like Freeza.DragonBalllKaiHD wrote:As per translation by Herms based on what was said on the Super website:

Both of them could be villains, but I don't think we have any sort of undeniable evidence just yet. My fingers are crossed that if any of the U6 combatants are "main villains", they aren't Botamo or Frost.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
If I recall, someone was saying something before about hoping Kyabe wasn't female because Toriyama doesn't favor women well. It is kinda funny. Yeah, Goku and Vegeta married some of the bitchiest broads in the series, and for some reason they take care of the house. Oolong in Dragon Ball tricked girls into living with him, and instead ended up taking care of them. Apparently women in love do housework, and anyone not is just looking for an easy life. It's still funny that Krillin ended up with the strongest wife on Earth.
But I do agree that it seems once these women got hitched, they stopped being relevant. Even Videl was relegated to mom status when she was actually tougher than Hercule and fought in the Budokai Tournament. It is sad that there is no strong female lead in the show that fights alongside the Z-fighters. The only one who has remained relevant and helpful throughout the entirety of the show has been Bulma. Sure she can't fight, but even with all these cosmic shenanigans, she's still helpful. She can bribe Whis and Beerus with food, she built a new radar to find the Super Dragon Balls, she can keep the kids in line and calm Chi Chi out of psycho mode.
I am actually kinda glad that Bulma has been in the spotlight a bit more. She's been part of the adventure since day one and continues to help in the ways only she can. Still wish we had a female fighter that would join the team and change things up a bit, but at least Bulma hasn't gone the way of Launch and Ranfan.

Why not get 18 to fight in Buus place?
She is stronger then Freeza back on planet namek.

Why not Trunks and Goten who, individually, are stronger than 18?MasterVampire wrote:Why not get 18 to fight in Buus place?

Boring characters with crappy drawn designs. I probably will never get used to any of the universe 6th fighters , just how i never got used to buu or beerus character. Not only by their boring unorthodox physical designs, but all of them ended up having a boring generic personalities that anyone could probably create with little to no thought given. But hey Toriyama's infant mind never changed has it?

Great idea, too bad they simply lost one fighter and that's it.MasterVampire wrote:Why not get 18 to fight in Buus place?

Just because YOU don't like it, doesn't make it bad

We haven't seen any of their personalities yet besides Cabba.CosmicSaiyan wrote:Boring characters with crappy drawn designs. Not to mention you do realize that that same 'infant mind' also created the things you presumably DO like about the series, right? And only those characters have unorthodox designs? Have you looked at the hairstyles the characters routinely sport?CosmicSaiyan wrote:Boring characters with crappy drawn designs. Is it really so hard for people to say they're not fond of something without completely being condescending towards the original author nowadays?

"Boring characters"? Some of these guys haven't even muttered a fucking word and you're already calling them boring? Jeez dude, it's like you WANT to complain about them.CosmicSaiyan wrote:Boring characters with crappy drawn designs. Probably a nitpick here, but I don't like the name "Salad", I mean things are become really goofy in this series, I can take characters with food name, but also food named planets? But that's nothing about some titty frog and a teddy bear being one of the strongest fighters in their respective universes, I guess.EmmaWinters wrote:Cabba's probably from Planet Salad, which I'm pretty sure is the original Saiyan planet. Vegeta seems to recognize it, saying there was some sort of internal conflict & some Saiyans left to Planet Vegeta. I think Salad was destroyed, not sure how though. As fun as this is, I'm just gonna let Herms do the rest.
He actually got a good point, overused concepts are getting pretty lame and predictable, I really would prefer if Toriyama came out with better and more original ideas for a change.Gyt Kaliba wrote:And Goku's hair just going up and turning yellow wasn't simple? The design was even made for the real world reason of making it where there was less inking to be done - Toriyama looking for the easy way out is hardly a new trend in his writing/designing.Jaetinh wrote:Frost final form is probably just a Blue version of Golden/final form Freeza, we all know Toriyama's way of thinking by now. You're not the only one, I think we had enough of Freeza for F***'s sake (no pun intended)Doctor. wrote:Really disappointed that Frost is universe 6's emperor and has Freeza's forms too.
A Freeza race character? Okay, I can take that... But he as also a emperor in his universe? Lame.
Well I expect him to be sort of a good ruler or something, we don't need another Freeza anymore, please.

Perhaps he does, but when one phrases their distaste in the way he has, then any and all credibility is lost, no matter how good the point.Noah wrote:He actually got a good point, overused concepts are getting pretty lame and predictable, I really would prefer if Toriyama came out with better and more original ideas for a change.

Make all the the impressions on the designs all ya want, but we hardly know jack shit about everyone yet. The stuff surrounding Cabba is rubbing me the wrong way, but let's see where it goes. Same with Frost. I tend to be more negative than positive about Super, but damn some people sound like they actively want to hate everything.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!
