Honestly, I don't see how Kyabe is even suggested as female. I mean when everyone saw him, I'm pretty sure the first thing that came to mind was that he was a dude, it's not even ambiguous. I would be really shocked if he revealed himself to be a girl.

Also for Piccolo I wonder if he got a decent boost from training with Gohan? I know it doesn't make sense, but after that Tagoma BS...

It's because Kabe's slim (even though "everyone is slim" is Toriyama's current art-style regardless of character sex and/or prior body type muscle-wise) and because Kabe has the same (well, minus the eyelashes) face as Gine (even though Kabe also has the same face as the DBHeroes male "elite" saiyan avatar).


You should see twitter; people have photoshopped Kabe as a blueper saiyan and are calling Kabe "the first female ssjblue".


I'm just gonna go with Kabe being ambiguous for now just in case the character does get revealed as female at some point down the line.

Some people think that Kabe may not be male or female. What if we get our first transgender character in DB?

Some of the people I follow on Twitter have said that Cabba is indeed a boy, but I don't specifically know or remember if it was actually confirmed in anything. I personally think Cabba is a boy and Cabba does look more like a boy to me, but there's enough ambiguity there for me to not be totally surprised if the opposite is actually true.

In which the ruler of this Planet Salad is Universe 6 Gokû.

I want to see Vegeta sight-seeing and excited-history-spouting all through that slice-of-life/filler episode. It'd be like episode 2 of Super only Vegeta'd be the one having fun this time. XD Meanwhile Gokû trails behind him not paying attention to anything Vegeta's saying and on occasion wandering off only to return before Vegeta notices Gokû's gone.

Vegeta was so pleasant with Kabe at the end of their conversation I can't help thinking that was Vegeta's low-key version of Gokû's "waku waku".

I've seen no indication. If Cabba is a man I'm holding out for Kamiya Hiroshi as him or Frost. I think it would also be nice to get some Dr. Slump actors back to voice these characters, too. Horie Mitsuko as Cabba would be nice.

Kamiya Hiroshi does some fun reaction-voices; I'd like to see him voice someone on Team Champa.
It wouldn't be impossible to get him; he's also over on One Piece right now. They got Vados' voice actress from One Piece.

I don't really know who I'd hope to hear from, since a majority of my favorite seiyuu either already work on the series, or are older and likely wouldn't want to take another role in a major ongoing series like this (like Kiyoshi Kobayashi, or Kanichi Kurita who I don't think has really done much else other than Lupin anyway - I also still consider it a damn shame that Goro Naya didn't get a bigger role in the franchise than he did). Definitely wouldn't mind hearing Yui Horie land a role in the series some day though.

It turns out that Bardock really was the legendary SSJ of Universe 6, which is why the new Saiyans are stronger and why they all sound like Goku. Chilled got the humble beat into him, which is why his descendants are more docile and why Frost is a "good" emperor. And above it all? Lord Goku the Wise, watching over the planet with his almighty gaze.

I could definitely see Goku be interesting in trying authentic Saiyan food while Vegeta, as you said, soaks in the history for a bit.

Vegeta seems to enjoy dropping bits of saiyan trivia whenever the opportunity appears; I think he'd have fun. X3
Especially since this is the original homeworld that he himself has (as far as I know) never been to before (well, it's another Universe's version of it, but still.)

I can't be the only one who's completely indifferent to Kyabe's gender can I? All I want is a good character that hopefully can be integrated into the series main cast for the upcoming arcs.

The whole speculation about a female saiyan in U6 team started even before Kyabe was introduced. It all started 2 chapters ago when Vegeta said something about female saiyans personality and everyone assumed this was an hint for something to come, then the next chapter when Kyabe was revealed to be a little kid with no evident adult male features it only gave more fuel to fan speculation.
