This kid looks confident as hell, what could be going down?? Kabe's drawing looks like he is up in the air hovering mid fight looking down at his opponent. And Goku looks worried/angry for the first time in this arc, he looks like he is either spectating or having one of those mid fight talks.

Also heres another one he posted

First drawing I've seen him with non-rounded eyes. That Gogeta vibe so strong.
*Photoshops with Vegeta eyebrows/face-lines*
I think these probably are from new OP clips though. They look too polished to be from an episode proper.

I dunno, maybe, but those expressions and poses they're making don't seem like they'd fit in well in an OP, seems more like they're actually from an episode. But yeah, I agree that they look too polished, but hopefully this just means that U6 will look the slightest bit better than BoG and F.

*fingers crossed* let's hope the character models can at least stay consistent for the duration of one episode.

So that krillin one looks almost exactly like the drawing in chapter 8 when goku is smashing on botamo. But what's with that scar?

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

What scar? Are you mistaking the + that marks center frame as a scar?

MahoPre's sakuga only started 3 days ago according to this: https://twitter.com/thestarsamurai/stat ... 9843721216

The translator doubts Toei's sending people over to help out Super and that's what's caused MahoPre's rough schedule, but I will hold out hope anyways. ( * _ * )
Major props to Toei if they're actually sending Super some help!

After all, if my guess is wrong then the only place I can think they sent them to instead is to help out with remaining 2 Go!Pri finale episodes.

The use of weaker core staff was probably a good sign that the series was going to not be a priority.

Does it mean Super has a chance of getting sent extra help from Toei?
I mean, Precure is Toei's favorite in terms of staff; for this year's Precure to be on a rough schedule...could it mean Super's getting help?

All the misinformation this is giving.
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

Who knows. I doubt we'll get good action animators simply because the schedule for this year's PreCure is less good.

Maybe they're sending people to help out Crystal season 3 then; even though that doesn't start til April (I think).

I can't imagine it's for the One Piece movie (yet) since that still feels really far away (July).

Nothing I've seen from MahoPre so far has gotten my interest (I'm still gonna give episode 1 a try anyway) so it wouldn't be too big a loss to me (unless I end up really liking episode 1 of course). If there has to be a loss to Precure's animation though I'd rather see the help sent towards Super (my runner up hope would be Crystal season 3; One Piece's anime I don't really care about much since their movies get so much love staff-wise anyway and I only follow the manga.)

Could you please lie to me the entire Season 3 will look like this?
Also, if I can be greedy, please lie to me godly Shūichi Iseki will animate every frame in the Champa arc ok? <3

One Piece just got...
so it's possible that it might not be a huge priority at the moment, although they are still in the middle of a pretty big fight so I don't think they'll move resources away from One Piece (don't think they ever would anyway though, given just how important One Piece is). On the bright side, I don't know if there are any huge scenes coming up that will demand a lot of extra work, but I also haven't read the manga in a little bit so I might be wrong.

One Piece has got a pretty fair amount cool moments lately, like this one at 4:05 from Shida:

I think the moment I posted in the above spoiler was worked on by Shida as well.

(I miss Iseki also)

Maybe I'm misremembering, but I believe in the past Jacob has said that Toei movies typically spend 6 months on animation. If that's the case, and it's coming out in July, they'd kinda have to be starting by now, wouldn't they?

Re: One Piece
That's probably the case then (much to my dismay). Precure does get prioritized over Super, but OP movies get prioritized over Precure. I don't recall how good or bad Precure's animation looked the last time there was a One Piece movie.

Re: Sailor Moon
I would be thrilled if all of Crystal season 3 looked that good. I have hopes it at least won't be as bad as season 1 now that it's going to be a TV series instead of web-only (as far as I know).

Ah yeah, the movie will take a big priority probably. I guess we'll find out how Super will turn out soon enough.

That's what I've read. One Piece Film Z kept a number of good animators on hand for quite a while, too.
