Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Before we got names, my speculation was that Cabba might be AU Gohan who is different from the regular one. So then they can make the joke he's cool Gohan and the one at home is lame Gohan. But after recent events, that's not the case since Cabba is his own person. Jury is still out on Gohan though.fadeddreams5 wrote:Maybe Kabe/Cabba was born when Gohan stopped training. The hidden powers personified and split from Gohan's body because he was such a disappointment.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

I thinking Gohan isn't really at a conference, that he's in fact training but doesn't want everyone to know. He's going to play a part in the arc, I'm sure of it.

Did anyone else notice that the Kaios from Universe 6 were a bit uncomfortable when Goku approached them in Chapter 7? And Old Kai says that "it's a long story..."...
I'm not sure if anyone approached this subject previously.

Hi all, new poster here so go easy on me!
With regards to the outcome of the tournament. Does anybody think that if universe 7 loses and the earths do indeed get switched it will come with consequences and fall backs? For example maybe portals to the other 12 universes being accessible by everyone other than gods and maybe causing a multi-universe battle. Something like that?

I'm very happy that these guys are back to normal
I didn't like Kibitoshin's design anyway.

I'm really happy they've been split back; I like Kaioshin's original character design a lot more than his and Kibito's fusion design. Also Kibito has healing powers, but I don't think we know if the fusion retained those.
On hiatus.

Well, I think that could happen and I really expecting U7 to lose this tournament, like said earlier in this thread: maybe with U7 Earth being at U6 they won't lose much and they could even explore more U6, who knows...

I deleted. This has nothing to do with Toyotaro's manga and is being discussed in more relevant threads. Posts do not disappear for no reason.SSJGBGoku wrote:So idk if deleted somehow but

Even with the lack of details, I must say that so far I have been enjoying the manga much more than the anime. I guess that is because the anime so far has just been a re-hash of the two movies with poorer animation and hasn't even showed us how Goku/Vegeta reached SSB. In any case, let's hope it picks up and
As far as the current argument goes, given the amount of hinting done with Champa/Vados, it seems clear to me that the Universal Tournament is acting as a cover-up and will set up the "real" arc. For some reason, it seems to me the real big bad is Vados.

A lot of people have speculated that, and while I'll admit i do sense a different feeling towards her than Whis, i don't think she will end up being the big bad one. Now, there's a possibility that maybe Champa and Vados are in coalition perhaps with another Haikishin and they're planning something...? There could be so many different possibilities!marcbret87 wrote:Even with the lack of details, I must say that so far I have been enjoying the manga much more than the anime. what? without even having to transform?emperior wrote:Calling it right now, Goku will beat everyone unless something happens and the fighters leave the tournament.namekiansaiyan wrote:Excluding power levels i have been thinking about how the tournament will play out.
If goku loses his first or second battle(after beating botamo) then piccolo will have to win his battle because
if piccolo loses straight away after goku lost to botamo it will 5vs2 which will mean vegeta will have to win 3 battles just to draw level and 2 if goku loses his second battle which seems unrealistic if we want the tournamet to be close. The only way i see piccolo losing is if goku wins 2 and loses the third, but i dont see this happening as that would mean too much goku at the start and not enough of anyone else.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Yes, he's a god now, so you know, nobody can touch him. lol jkapex_pretador wrote:what? without even having to transform?emperior wrote:Calling it right now, Goku will beat everyone unless something happens and the fighters leave the tournament.
Goku beating everyone would be pretty boring, he will beat Botamo then he will pass his turn to Piccolo, I guess.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I never said Goku would be able to beat everyone without transforming. But if the tournament is Baba style I don't think Goku will lose.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Still rumors about what Kyabe will be. I for one don't fall into the camp of him being a SSG. The fact is, we have too little information about his Planet Salada's history. However, he says they're all good. The thing about SSG, was that, from what we were already told, it was created and used by a group of Saiyans that disagreed with and separated themselves from their violent brethren, and created the SSG in order to stop them. Unfortunately, either we follow that he just ran out of time with the form, or the resulting conflict is what caused the destruction of Planet Salada in the 7th universe to begin with. Resulting in the Saiyans abandoning their homeworld and finding their way to the thusly renamed Planet Vegeta.
The thing is, SSG was a result created from internal strife among the Saiyans. This doesn't appear to have happened in Universe 6. They may have Super Saiyans, since it does appear to be a form attainable by anyone, but SSG was achieved through very specific circumstances and even Vegeta's SSB we can surmise had something to do with his training with Whis. With Kyabe, we just don't have enough information to suggest he could achieve the same transformation or something similar.
Some suggest Kyabe is among the strongest of the U6 Saiyans, as why else would Champa have him on his team? Well, there is always the point that Champa just went to Planet Salada and said he wanted to hire their strongest warrior who was available, since the tournament was set for 5 days after making the challenge to Beerus. Which doesn't leave a lot of time for planning or for other U6 Saiyans to return and/or accept the request if their actual strongest members were out on missions to take care of all the bad guys in the galaxy. So Kyabe could very well have just been the strongest one available at the time, and not the strongest member of his race in U6.
If the tournament is just a setup for something grander, then I don't feel that the whole U6 team is going to be on par with the U7 team. After all, Champa seemed to believe Goku and Vegeta were really slow and weak when seeing them at Beerus', and appeared unaware that they were under the affects of those heavy suits. So Champa may've more likely formed his team under the idea that Beerus' team would be super weak and completely underestimate the U7 fighters. Hence the idea that Goku could clear the whole roster solo.
