Can Goku Create his own forms?

I know Kaio-Ken is more of a technique then a form really, but none the less his appearence changes and he was shown how to do it instead of it being a Saiyan exclusive transformation. Could Goku create his own forms like this that isnt because of his Saiyan blood? What if this Super Saiyan never really existed, and Goku out of anger created the form while Vegeta and other Sayians learned/mimiced it? Just as Goku copied the Kamehameha wave from Roshi. I'm more or less looking for an excuse to break the "Super Saiyan" chain of names. I think it'd be cool if Goku with his new God ki created a form that wasn't anything with Super in the name. Something different like Kaio-Ken instead of Super Saiyan this and that. I also think these forms could do more than increase power... For example, Say he created (name here) and it boosted his speed way beyond any Super Saiyan form and had it's draw back to keep it somewhat realistic. I like SSJB but SSG should have been the last Super Saiyan transformation in my opinion. This God ki really had endless potential to open up new forms that wasn't just changing hair color, or Goku could have used it to make his own form that isn't Saiyan exlusive.

So basically like the opposite of the ultra-bulked-up Super Saiyan form that Trunks tried to use against Perfect Cell? Looking at it that way, it seems like the Saiyans pretty much did create some new forms during the training leading up to SSj2; the "in-between" forms shown off during the Cell saga weren't really natural forms, but them pumping their ki up in a certain way to change the nature of the standard Super Saiyan forms.

There's been a comment from Toriyama that suggested SSj2 and SSj3 are similar, just improved versions of regular Super Saiyan... of course, given how Gohan got SSj2 in a moment of rage rather than from training that one at least seems like something that can be reached naturally, but it's entirely possible that Goku pretty much "created" SSj3 (and then Gotenks imitated it, while Vegeta chose not to even attempt to reach that form after seeing firsthand how bad the energy-drain side-effect is.)

I've always been under the impression that Super Saiyan 3 and Super Saiyan Blue were forms Goku invented on his own, if his line about "practicing this form" is any indication. It seems at least the dub of RF implied this was the case with the latter, though, when Goku says "Long story short, I acquired something called Super Saiyan God and learned to tap into that power on my own." It's one of the reasons I'm so pissy about Heroes handing that form willy-nilly; it makes no sense for Broly to know a techinque Goku invented miles away from him (though his form certainly is buffer, so maybe it's something he came up with, too).

In general, Goku tends to make up a lot of his own transformations. I generally like it when characters make up their own techniques.

I know my grammar has been a little rusty as of late, but I don't think "possible" works in the context of your initial post.

"Anything is possible for Goku" would be the correct use of the word. Likewise, "Goku is capable of anything" would've been just as fine.

Think the right wording is goku can unlock forms on his own,since he isnt making them from thin air.

A form on his own would be something that no one else can use.Goku didnt create ssj 3,that form was already there just needed to be unlocked,same for ssj blue.

The only form that was created would be kaioken which was created by king kai.
