I always laugh about those

But it's no worse than people cursing about Goku being dubbed by a old lady and how they prefer Schemmel manly voice, meh

Yeah Goku's more like Triple H. He also wields the Golden Shovel pretty effectively.
Vegeta is clearly Triple H, he married the rich billion dollar princess and buries those under him but despite what he thinks he's never been the Man.

Then Goku's Hulk Hogan. He's used the shovel plenty too, and his match with Shawn was hilarious.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

The way you post your comments, you come off as a typical YouTube commenter (although with less cursing) but at the opposite level. Seemingly every post you make is some passive aggressive jab at the dub and its fans. We get it. You hate the dub. No need to spout it every single chance you get.

"Real version of the show" comments like that is what give sub fanboys a bad reputation.

But it is the real version of the show. I think you can understand that.

No version is the "real" version.

The japanese version is simply the original. The Dubs around the world might not be the original and they might have many changes compared to the original but they are as real as the original.

By claiming that the original is the "real" one, you are already implying a judgment regarding the validity and worth of the Dubs.

I wonder, if Kuririn's daughter will still be named Marron, it's one thing to name your daughter after first love (filler, i know) but to name it after federal agent, that left with all your money? :D

I didn't know there was a manga version or the concept of filler back in the days of Toonami, so color me surprised when during the premieres on TV Krillin calls his daughter Marron. My thoughts: "Does Eighteen know Krillin named their daughter after his ex? Why is his ass not thoroughly kicked?"

Yes I understand that, but it's not the real version in the sense that it makes it so far above any other version. It's simply the original

Yes it is, above english version, absolutely. But this is off topic.

What would happen if a Dub was actually better than the original? I'm not saying that that's the case in Dragon Ball, but what if it was? Would the Dub be the "real" version...? It's because of things like that that terms like "real" end up not making sense.

At the end of the day, the show is the show. If someone's a fan of it, they're a fan of it, regardless of which version they watch. There might and probably inevitably will be conflict between fans of different versions, no matter how faithhful a dub is, but that doesn't make a fan of a dub any less valid of a fan than a fan of an original version. Bottom line, at least for me.

Now granted, I do have a hard time imagining that if someone is as obsessively into something like I, and many others are, are with Dragon Ball, that one wouldn't be at least relatively curious about the original version, even if they have no problem with their respective country's dub. I'm just as (or at least very close to being) into Digimon, Lupin the 3rd, and Masakazu Katsura's works as I am Dragon Ball, so I can't help but be just as interested in their original versions even if in some cases an English version is all that's available to me.

Although I prefer the original, I do have a soft spot for Falconer's score.
Cool stuff that I upload here because Youtube will copyright claim it: https://vimeo.com/user60967147

Is KaiserNeko recording for the Dragon Ball Super dub? I know he did voice work for BoG and Taka for Xenoverse. I ask because he's been tweeting himself recording at Funimation for the past 2-3 months...

Kaiser and the others have been working with Funimation for a LONG time. If I'm not mistaken, they're in a bunch of different things, not just Dragon Ball.

If I were in the Super dub (which I can safely say I am currently not) I'd be recording at Okratron 5000, as thats where all DB content is dubbed in the US. Which I actually have recorded at quite a bit, but not for Dragonball. Well, besides Resurrection F.
