Super will continue to disappoint, and just like GT it will be another series that won't be too fondly remembered.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

I figured now was the perfect time to post this after listening to the podcast prediction time

#1 Dragon Ball Super will not be released this year by Funimation Licensing will be mentioned but that will be it in fact i foresee a 2018 release unfortunately
#2 Dragon Ball Super will not end with the Universe 6 Arc in fact I am going to go really bold and say their will be a timeskip after this arc skipping ahead 7 or 8 years with flashes of the budokai tournament with Oob. It will completely make GT irrelevant and after this timeskip Pan and Oob will become the focus of Super and they will have two more arcs to conclude the Dragonball saga right and night terribly like GT did. Goku and Vegeta will also be main characters after this timeskip.
#3 Gohan will go SSB in universe 6 arc and he will once again become a popular character
#4 Dragon Ball Z Kai the Boo Saga will start its Syndication on Toonami before the end of the year
#5 Buu Saga of Kai will not see home media release in 2016 sorry 2017 will be the year. :/
#6 Bandai Tamashii Nations will release the most sh figuarts this year as any other year :O
#7 After the time skip in Super Goku will reach a new level of transformation making SSJ4 completely irrelevant
#8 Their will be no new home console dragonball game in 2016
#9 Funimation will release a limited edition box set design for Dragonball Z Super once it is placed on home media

I don't think Super's legacy will be quite like GTs. Remember the reason a lot of people lambast GT is because Toriyama's lack of involvement is so well documented. Granted Toriyama is not as involved with Super as some would like to believe, but the fact he is somewhat more involved will always make the GT haters give Super that much leeway despite all its problems.

The first few episodes have been miles better then GT. Sure the score and sound effects suck but content wise it is much better.

The U6 arc is what will make or break Super, if something goes wrong with the story and/or animation/fighting choreography then it's reputation will probably be worse then Gt's.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Not really. A lot of people "hating" on Super still think it's better than GT.

Is it too late despite being 2 months in?
1. Super goes beyond the Universe 6 arc.
2. Some new form for the Saiyans happen.
3. Possible new movie.

Out of left field prediction
3. A home console port of Zenkai Battle Royale in Japan which will also come out here
4. FUNimation releases Dragon Boxes of the original series.

I really don't see any particular reason for FUNimation to release Dragon Boxes of the original series. Granted, I'm not sure how justified the Z releases were, though there you at least have the argument that the whole series wasn't out in 4:3. For DB and DBGT, this isn't the case, and I imagine they think their remastered releases are sufficient.

There was that survey they had 4 years ago. So clearly they were considering it and maybe still are.

I give up on Dragon Ball boxes ever happening ever again here in the US unless Toei does blu-ray boxes over in Japan.

Toei's definitely kept to their promise when they said "limited" on the Dragon Boxes. Any other company would have just said that to boost sales and re-release them a year later.
