Simpler, no. But if done properly, it can be very helpful in terms of preserving quality.JAPPO wrote: But you'll probably need to convert the video once it's ripped.
I'm sure there is a simpler way that someone can post.

Sure it's not the best quality, but at lest you were actually able to see it "as it was meant to be seen." And don't go saying that the FUNi masters were slightly zoomed in.
The subbers for One Piece are amazing as well. Great quality video, subs and from 207 on...widescreen, except One Piece was INTENDED to be seen widescreen...damn.
I'm jealous. I don't get it here at all, and I have to order through the Internet. Thus, I probably won't get it until a couple days after it is officially released.MajinVejitaXV wrote:Hm, my friend from Best Buy just verified local stores have the box in stock now. That is the intended street date, the day stores like Best Buy or Wal-Mart are supposed to release the DVD's. Obviously, the stores don't care and make them available anyways.JAPPO wrote:I recieved an email yesterday saying they shipped it. Oops. I dont check my email.
ANYWAY, I live in Canada so it will probably take until wednesday. Still, why would FUNimation say it is released Feb 6th...
Can somebody PLEASE PLEASE PRETTY SUPER PLEASE WITH 8 CUPS OF SUGAR ON TOP make like a 2-minute video clip (anywhere is fine) of the dub with the original japanese music?
I don't mind if the clip's video quality isn't too great. I just wanna hear the thing that we should've been hearing since day one... Well... You know what I mean...
Please?

Tell me, would it be "nitpicking" if you found a dead pixel on your brand new iPod, and you complained to Apple about it? I wouldn't think so. It's distracting, but even if you just ignored it, for the price you paid there really shouldn't be any problems with it.Smooth Criminal wrote:Ask yourself this. Are you REALLY going to miss that little bit on the top and bottom? Is it ruining the experience in any way? Of course not. You're nitpicking.
Now imagine a whole row of dead pixels. I'd want an entirely new iPod if that happened to me. But let's say you tune that out too. I mean after all, it still plays music, right?
Okay, now let's knock out 10% of the entire screen. It's cheaper, and still works in all other aspects, but you're not capable of seeing everything. Why on earth should you tolerate that? If it were me, I'd say the company doing such a half-assed job wouldn't be worth my money.
Nitpicking? Please.
*SIGH*. Don't you people know that widescreen movies show more?godofchaos wrote:It is EXACTLY the same, you are missing stuff you are supposed to see.

There is such a BIG difference between movies that were FILMED IN WIDESCREEN and DBZ that was ANIMATED IN 4:3 being presented in widescreen. Dead pixels is a great way of comparing this widescreen issue, seeing as how image that was previously present is no longer there.JAPPO wrote:Dead pixels? Please. It's WIDESCREEN. Is widescreen movies dead pixels?
I don't see how that applies to DBZ.JAPPO wrote:*SIGH*. Don't you people know that widescreen movies show more?
The series wasn't meant to be shown in widescreen format. It's been discussed for quite some time now, and evidence to prove this as well.JAPPO wrote:*SIGH*.
