Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
On that cover there is no 4 star dragonball... But there are two 5 star ones. It probably means nothing but still...

U6 saiyans might have a different super saiyan transformation. Their super saiyan might look like SSJ God or SSJB.derpgoku wrote:I don't know what toyataro is doing , he makes it look like regular ssj while saying its different.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I actually really want that V Jump haha (That is the most recent V Jump right? Or is it a poster?). That's an awesome cover. I assume they are sold on Amazon Japan?
Anyway, does Piccolo know the Taiyoken (Solar Flare)? Maybe he could use that and hit Frost with the Makankosappo. I don't know how effective that would be, but it could be Piccolo's best shot.

I only see one at the top-right corner, where's the other one?IM21 wrote:On that cover there is no 4 star dragonball... But there are two 5 star ones. It probably means nothing but still...
The only things that I think are different from his usual Super Saiyajin form are the few bangs Blue spikes up.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I am pretty convinced now that this could be normal yellow SSJ . Still doubtful.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Just looked at that Poster and I'm seeing saiyans with WHITE HAIR???
Are we going to see AF transformations now?????
Just saw that isnt a Dragonball Super character... ugh need to read first.
Although Cabba's hair still looks suspect.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
If it is indeed Super Saiyan Blue, then it just means that it is no longer necessary to make a distinction on the black and white drawings: Toyotaro must have had confirmation that Goku and Vegeta's hair will never be golden again, this scene being meant as the introduction of "from now on, when you see white hair for Goku and Vegeta, it means they have blue hair".
But we'll see.
With the anime's title mentionning "Super Saiyan" too, it is possible it is also a confirmation that the blue hair has just become a side effect of having (blue) God energy instead of (golden) basic Saiyan energy, but it is still Super Saiyan anyway, not requiring a different name and just having blue hair from when Goku gets his new outfit on (all part of the "new looks for Goku and Vegeta").
All of this makes sense in the "Super Saiyan with blue hair has replaced Super Saiyan with blond hair for good" logic. But we'll see soon enough.
I've always considered that Super Saiyan Blue "erased" Super Saiyan for the reason mentionned above: it's just Super Saiyan with a side effect on color due to a different energy color within. But in just a few episodes, we'll have conformation for good on whether Goku can still turn "simple Super Saiyan" or not.
I'll stick with that "blue erased gold" theory I've had since Resurrection 'F' until an episode or an artwork proves me otherwise.
But we'll see.

Oh, right! Didn't see it.IM21 wrote:On the left side where it's written ARC-V.
A 9-star ball and two 5-star ball
By the way, the last panel with Final Form Frost says "The Legendary Super Saiyajin VS The Evil Emperor, again" but it might just be promotional fluff.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Look at Monaca on that poster.. He looks pissed!
Also I guess they kinda foreshadowed that Goku could still use normal SS, when he initially was powering up with the regular SS aura against Freeza, so yay for that, I guess.
This is definitely something I'd like to be properly explained though.
Final Form Frost looks good.

Yep, his transformation is more like golden Freeza's. His shoulders are missing the purple circles like Freeza's first form.
Yeah, it's normal SSJ. It's pretty cool he used it even after achieving SSJB. I think he used normal SSJ because Frost was holding his final form back.SSJGBGoku wrote:I am pretty convinced now that this could be normal yellow SSJ . Still doubtful.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Botamo went out fast. It's nice to see that the last two fights weren't just strongest wins automatically. Freeza had his stamina problems and Botamo his rubber ball thing. This fight reminded me of Goku vs Buyon. I think Mr.Toriyama is getting back to his early Dragon Ball days.
I think we won't see Third Form Frost in the anime, looks to me like a simple homage that doesn't need to be there for the plot. Loving Frost! He's really nice and has great reactions, hopping we see more of him after this. His fight with Goku had some nice choreography. This is looking good!

I always felt the opposite and that SSB was only temporary until they fully "Mastered" SSGSS form. Similar to how After obtaining God, they look just like base.Cold Skin wrote:If it is indeed Super Saiyan Blue, then it just means that it is no longer necessary to make a distinction on the black and white drawings: Toyotaro must have had confirmation that Goku and Vegeta's hair will never be golden again, this scene being meant as the introduction of "from now on, when you see white hair for Goku and Vegeta, it means they have blue hair".

If it is indeed regular Super Saiyan then I'm going to assume Goku being able to keep up with Beerus in base form in the movie is being ignored and they are going with the Super version where he went from God to Super Saiyan.
Still doesn't make things seem much better for Piccolo if he still has to fight someone at least as strong as regular SSG.

I just think it's interesting that hit is in between both teams instead of being on Champa's side and that Monaca is above everyone like Whis was in the BOG movie poster.DainIronfoot wrote:Why say that? Something I'm missing from that poster...?
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

I think we may see it because I'm not sure Toyotarou would be allowed to come up with a design for Frost's third form, even if it's similar to Freeza's. His final form looks like a fusion between Freeza and Coola.LightBing wrote:I think we won't see Third Form Frost in the anime, looks to me like a simple homage that doesn't need to be there for the plot.
