I usually avoid threads like these due to their negativity, however I need to get this off of my chest.

I recently witnessed someone in YouTube comments accuse someone else of being a pedophile because they liked to watch Dragon Ball uncut, and they said that they must be turned on by seeing Goku and Gohan's genitals, while they stated that was the reason FUNimation's censorship was a good thing.

Of course, it was YouTube, so I should always expect as much. I just didn't expect... that...

Also just for the record considering theres dozens of different iterations of that character and whatnot I will point out that "most" of them he would. Theres only a couple versions of the character that actually make that whole debate even worth while.

Sorry, but I just had to go there. I can't stand stuff like that being said becuase it open a pandora's box that nobody is interested in closing again. And then Dragon Ball Super had to go out of its way to make the scenario even worse with the universe destroying punches bullshit.

Not to turn this thread into another Goku vs Superman thread but I certainly understand peoples frustrations. They are both truly beloved characters that give people hope and strength and people hold them dearly and close to their hearts........ That being said as obviously a pro Goku fan it certainly doesn't help since Superman is incredibly convoluted with dozens of different writers and storylines and iterations of the character that have abilities from only somewhat super human all the way to beyond logic breaking and everything inbetween. If someone comes up and says that they are a Superman fan that barely tells me anything. Whereas with Goku its mostly pretty simple with the exception of someone wanting to throw GT into the mix pretty much. But yeah I can understand the frustration over the entirety of debating the subject at large.

Its not as if there's no truth in that statement. But for the most part, Goku (essentially Toriyama) stayed true to his characterizations. Desire to fight sugoi guys. To mamoru. To shigyoo.

Besides, when compared to guys as Van Hohenhiem (FullMetal Alchemist: BrotherHood) & Ging (HXH2011), these 2 guys blow Goku outta water & redefine the term "irresponsible Dad"

Depends on the versions, but yes Goku can one-shot most versions of Superman.
Buuuut the strongest version of Superman is still stronger than the strongest version of Goku. and no I'm not being biased or anything as I vastly prefer Goku to Superman.
