OMG, Piccolo got Toei haxxed, power level canon has been fucked up1!!!1'.
You've all been forewarned!

TBH, piccolo has been Toei's second favourite character (according to movies):
- Piccolo >= Post king kai goku in M2
- Piccolo was a major thing in M4
- Piccolo was the one to kill all cooler henchmen in M5
- Piccolo was really strong in M-7
- Piccolo was treating vegeta like his b**ch in M-8 while forcing him to fight broly. He also did better than everyone but goku and enraged vegeta
- Piccolo was able to fight bojack briefly, and didn't do really bad against him , but better than vegeta & trunks
Keep your hopes up everyone

of course he can't piccolo is only at best FPSSJ tier what the hell he's going to do to someone who's god tier in power.
Who knows piccolo may now be super vegetto tier (and still be a joke for base goku/vegeta) ??
Gorou wrote:I think that it's a common SSJ.
Otherwise Piccolo would not have a chance against Frost.
Even if base goku lost to frost, piccolo still won't have chance. Also there is not a significant , if any , difference in SS & SSB power level.

Or frost vs Goku is like piccolo vs goku 23rd TB?

Another thing that caught my eye was Cabba's reaction to Frost transforming. We know their team order doesn't necessarily guarantee that they go from the weakest to the strongest but if Cabba is stronger than Frost why is he surprised by him transforming? Didn't he know he could or didn't he expect Frost to transform just yet?
Frost is massively stronger than cabba. Isn't it mentioned somewhere that frost is the emperor of U6? I believe only hit is stronger than frost.

Goku vs. Frost = Goku loses but Frost is worn out
Piccolo vs. Frost = Frost finger flicks
Vegeta vs. Frost = Vegeta beats a weakened Frost
Vegeta vs. Magetta = Vegeta wins easily
Vegeta vs. Cabba = Vegeta wins with medium difficulty
Vegeta vs. Hit = Vegeta is beated to a pulp
Monaka vs. Hit = Monaka loses horribly
4 matches for vegeta? That's overkill. 4 "continuous" matches for vegeta, , unbearable.

To have Piccolo win, thus kinda screwing with the power levels, or have him job, making the whole tournament setting kinda pointless? I for one don't care about power levels and I hope Piccolo wins. I don't want to see Vegeta or Monaka get three fights (two for each is perfect for me, one win, one lose), since that would get boring.
Power levels are already BS & screwed:
- Tien holding semi-perfect cell off, who would no sell #16's best shots, who would no sell kamiccolo , who would no sell unfused piccolo , who would no sell base saiyans, who would no sell tien
- Base gotenks was >> piccolo (atleast post HTC) >>> freeza, and SS3 gotenks < SS3 BoG goku. But Base BoG goku < freeza
- Tagoma issues
MozillaVulpix wrote:No one's talking about the first match? Because I thought that was interesting. Botamo was immune to his attacks, but Goku was still stronger, so he just threw him out of the ring. It kind of reminded me of Buyon. Immune to attacks, so you have to find another way to win.
The second match seems very fanservice-y, but it also seems kind of self-aware. It's at least making fun of the somewhat lack of creativity. Also, interesting that they mentioned Goku has never seen Freeza's third form before. That was a nice touch.
As to the whole "did Goku go regular SSJ?" I'd say yes. It makes sense. He's not permanently a god now. I mean, in Super, Goku's ki only disappears when he goes SS Blue, so presumably the god ki is something you consciously have to 'turn on'.
And as to why he'd use it...I'm expecting Frost to catch him off-guard or something. Not in the RF way, but just in the "Goku holding back is backfiring because Frost is stronger than he expected". Like, if he had used his full power from the start, he would have won. And that's how Piccolo can win.
It's actually kind of interesting, how quickly they're getting Goku out of the way. I have no idea what they're doing with the other characters.
Botamo was U6's counterpart of buyon
On frost-goku-piccolo issue, we already know that 3rd form frost is much stronger than base goku, who is so much stronger than piccolo that it doesn't matter if he's holding back in SS form or not.
Anyways, SS from champa arc > SSG BoG
