I've gotten so used to Blueper Saiyan that seeing the regular Super Saiyan is completely jarring
Especially Vegeta with his new suit.. it just looks weird to me now
alakazam^ wrote:Blue is still being heavily promoted so I think that one isn't going nowhere. I guess it kinda confirms they have access to both transformations.
Yeah, I think Blue is basically going to be used as a replacement for SSJ2 and 3, but without the power drain.
It'd be funny if SSJ3 Goku at this point in time would actually be stronger than Blue, but he just drains too much energy.
More new stuff from the official site (and kinda early for it). GDM7 will be releasing earlier than usual next month, on the 10th. Also, confirmation of Vados being include, presumably an early form of Demigra, and another new character in addition to Chronoa and Putine.

Man, with all these new characters I gotta wonder if Xenoverse 2 is going to just stick with the Time Breaker stuff or if it will incorporate this stuff as well.
It's also funny that they waited until we are getting a bunch of new characters in the series before coming up with actual original characters for Heroes, lol.
Well, the first Xenoverse wasn't really about the Time Breakers anyway. Towa and Mira didn't have their organization and Demigra was using them as a cover for his own plans. So with Demigra and Chronoa here, this isn't exactly unrelated to the plot of the first game...though, seeing how it's the origin story of Makai, probably when Demigra started calling himself a Demon God, and maybe how Chronoa became the Time Kaioshin, it kinda feels like it should have been in the first game already. It could have served as great cutscene backstory when that information was revealed, if nothing else.
Anyway, Heroes has amassed quite a bit of Makai related content that could be used in a Xenoverse sequel:
Chronoa (Pre & Post Time Kaioshin)
Trunks: Xeno (Base, SS, SS2, SS3)
Son Goten: Xeno (Base,...)
Gotenks: Xeno (Base, SS,...)
Bardock: Xeno (Base, SS, SS2, SS3)
Pink Guy
Putine
Demigra (Pre & Post Demon God)
Mira (Base, Runaway, Super)
Towa (Base, Darkness)
Dabra: Xeno
Masked Saiyan (Base, Ozaru)
Haru Haru
Shun Shun
Saiakkuman
General Bon
And there's still plenty of DBO content to draw from as well, like Naraku, Fu, etc.

I've felt like with the post credits scene of Xenoverse that they would form the Time Breakers and they'd be present in the sequel.
I mainly took issue with "Xenoverse 2 sticking with the Time Breakers", as if the first one was actually about them, As I mentioned, the Time Breakers are the organization, not just Towa and Mira. That's just me nitpicking though.
Definitely not ruling out the Time Breakers as a possibility for the sequel. The teaser certainly leaves that as an option, though they could always just come back as the duo of Darkness Towa and Super Mira as well. If they do form the organization though, the story will need a bit of a better, more involved plot or else they'll probably let a lot of potential characters go to waste by barely using them more than once. The first game wasn't super long if you take out the artificial difficulty and DLC. :/

When I said stick with the Time Breakers I meant just use them for the plot and not any of this new stuff, not stick with them from the previous game.
So, who's the pink guy? Also, who is Putine and how are those 2 connected to Chronoa?
Also-also, it seems that God Tsumuri, and presumably the other Namekian avatars, have gained red eyes like that one Namekian from the Dragon Ball Online opening.
Is this the first time the Saiyan Hero has been shown to have to ability to go SSJ God? Because I don't remember him having the form in previous GDM promotional material.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

GDM7 is the avatar God Class-Up.
Herms tweeted the text atop Putine and Pink Guy says "Challenge the strongest wizards!", so I guess they're mages like Demigra. I'm still going to (pointlessly) hold out for them to be Makaio(shin). They can be mages, too. Dabra was the Demon King and he knew magic.. Never gonna give up.

I havent noticed that, I hope it is a new form so frieza race and saiyans arent the only ones that can transformand I also hope they dont stop there and give majins, kais and androids a transformation too cause saiyans already got 4 and thats not fair
Technically, Namekians already had the Fusion w/ Piccolo, but I guess (if this is a transformation) this could their first non-ritualistic transformation.

Actually, Saiyans only have one transformation. Each character race has some kind of ability, like Namekians being able to fuse for instance. Saiyans have the transformation ability but they only do it once. Depending on which Avatar class you pick, you can go Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3 or Super Saiyan God。
By the way, I don't think they are makaioshins. The description says something like 75 million years ago on Heaven (Tenkai) and something about evil mages and getting peace back or something.

That necessarily doesn't mean anything though. Makaio(shin) are the gods that govern Makai, and this is an arc about Makai's creation. They wouldn't be gods of the realm from the beginning, just like proto Demigra up there wouldn't be a crazy, self proclaimed Majin/Demon God yet...
