Never seen a DVD release that still had the final ending with the credits,
I think these come from the same edited masters that rtl7 and Toei used in their original TV broadcast.
I want to have this, where did you buy this DVD release?

I hear it's not quite perfect though, as GT was apparently mixed in stereo whereas these releases are only in mono.
Still, nice that a clearer audio version is out there. And this makes it all the more absurd that Toei went with the lower quality audio-tracks for the GT Dragon Box. Like, we have clear proof that a higher quality version for GT still exists! Toei themselves would have had to have access to it! It's still being used in reruns to this day, from what I've heard! At least with Z and DB there's the excuse that Toei threw out the original source files and we've only got the original audio preserved through fan-recordings. For GT there really is no excuse.

No, why would it? It's fiction. The strength of the characters is not possible to reach in reality.
I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

So, is this the DVD cover
If so, 1. That looks really fake (I'd assume it's a bootleg) and 2. I haven't been able to track it down. I found another taiwanese DVD for GT, but I'm not sure if it's the same one that genjosanzo8 showed

Those images are from three different sources. One of which, the video game models,
shouldn't be part of any production guide\style guide. So, based on that alone, I'd say you're right.

Man, why am I envious of you owning these?
Those images....hits my childhood right there!
I really have nothing to add to discussion except 2 things:
1. I wish I could own these version. It looks so much superior to DVD versions I get here in Malaysia
2. The 1st image of Omega, Super 17, SSJ4 Goku & Veggie...sigh...if only TOEI had capitalized on GT's strengths. That last few panels belong in Ep64 with Goku's smiling face hitting my heart so deep!!!

These DVDs are purchaseable and have been illegally pirated on the Internet for a couple years now. They're hardly some rare unseen gem that's being hoarded from people.

Them using FUNimation's custom GT logo is another dead giveaway.

No, this isn't an official release. These episodes were recorded off of TV and put on DVD, that's why this set has that audio.

Whatever the box art is, this must be a dead copy of an official release. There cannot be TV recordings looking this good without any watermarks or texts. This must be sourced from videotape masters which are copies of Toei's D-2 masters that contain PCM digital audio. Many countries received the same kind of masters and some other international DVD releases do contain the high quality (yet mono) Japanese audio like this. Toei stopped using the D-2 videotape masters of GT in the early 2000s and switched to the newly transferred masters which has crappy audio sourced from film.

Anyone know where I could buy these DVDs? The cover looks very bootleg-ish but as long as it contains the broadcast GT audio I'm A-OK with it.

I would also like to know where these can be purchased. I tried Googling things, but that wasn't very helpful.
