It was all a plan to get him to transform by utilizing his Pavlovian trigger.
Uncharacteristically high-minded of Goku, but.... well, we have plans.
As for Unmei No Hi, nobody will have heard this version before.
Second question: where did the hair on fire joke come from? XD
That actually happened in the show. In fact, the dub even has Goku freaking out about it as the camera pans up (don't think the Original version does). Of course, in the anime, there was only one little ember on one of Goku's hair spikes, but Kaiser and Co. added a ton more onto that.

You're spoiling the surprise! I can't go on this thread anymore!
jk
I could have gotten into anything...and yet I chose the story aimed at young Japanese boys about martial arts, and later about super-powerful aliens punching each other really hard.

I thought the idea was that Goku was just so naive he didn't realize how dangerous it was, going by your characterization of him.
You know I'm surprised Cell didn't notice he had a nose now. I mean he had fun after learning he got lips in Semi-Perfect. I guess the "crown" joke made up for it.
Also you know the irony of using the Bruce track during the Final Flash scene? Vegeta's "Final Flash" and "Big Bang Attack" are said in English in Japan as well since Akira wanted to give the idea of Vegeta being a "foreigner." I would see the Bruce track used as an actual reference since, well, it's an English track.
...or at least I think all of this is right. Feel free to correct me.

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

Danmmmmmm. I don't watch TFS anymore but I was subbed to them. please don't handle this as bad as IHE
Also why is it Funimation first and Toriyama last ? Shouldn't it be the opposite ?

I have borderline personality disorder, if my posts ever come off as aggressive or word vomit-y to you, please let me know.
I don't even use my Youtube outside of watching videos really anymore (and I don't think I'm ever even logged in when I do that anymore - Google already screwed me over in a different way ages ago when they bought Youtube), and I'm still getting really fed up with all of the false copyright claims that keep happening.

It seems to have gotten exponentially worse over the past few weeks. Channel Awesome/Doug Walker was hit with loads of copyright claims, and then there was IHateEverything and...there's probably way more I haven't heard about. Let's hope this gets sorted out soon!

Well nothing he or the people on Channel Awesome make is any good. So that's not too great a loss.

Disliking a person or group's content still doesn't really make it right for fraudulent copyright claims to get out of control though. And while I haven't enjoyed a lot of his newer videos that focus far more on skits than critiques, I still find his older content and a fair amount of his newer content that does at least partially have that older style, to still be pretty enjoyable.

Man, that is almost word for word how the last flame war happened talking about Nostalgia Critic. About a year or two back I believe. Man, I really do not want to see that re-enacted.

I like Sage and the Cinema Snob. Youtube has been terrible with copyright issues for years. How does people like Pewdiepie get away with copyright footage and still make money of it while others can't is beyond me.

It wasn't a year ago, and that conversation was me saying Linkara was awful, which he is.
