Because anime is the main product, manga is just a monthly promotion for the anime.saiyanvegetable wrote:why anybody is still bothering with this piss poor anime is beyond me. I'll still be following the manga.

Re: Do you mind if Supers Manga gets behind?
On one hand I want to be surprised by the anime and not have the manga spoil things in a less entertaining way, however I do like previews. I'm good with either. Both have pros and cons. It's not possible really to not read the manga and be assured no spoilers thanks to the internet ;/
Any post before 8/7/2016 isn't mine. This account was a gift from someone who thought the account was already banned. Saved me the trouble of making a new one haha XD
I love DB/DBZ/DBGT/DBZK/DBS (If I didn't why would I be here? XD)

Not at all, as long as Toyotaro adapts the entirety of Champa arc that's what matters the most to me.
I strongly disagree with people saying the manga "already served its purpose" so it should end. First because some of us just generally prefer Dragon Ball in manga format.
Second, Toyotaro in a lot of cases is doing a better job/being more creative than Toei at adapting Toriyama's draft. Just to name a few examples: Champa and Vados showing up at Kaioshin's realm in middle of BoG arc, Champa destroying that Freeza army spaceship kick-starting the FnF arc, Goku and Vegeta sparring and Beerus vs Champa. To sum it up, it overall did a much better job than the anime at teasing the upcoming Champa arc during the retellings and also provided great fanservice in the Hakaishin twins fight.
And third, because given Super's anime track record, there's unfortunately a relatively high probability that at least a few fight sequences in the tournament will range from mediocre to atrocious animation and art-wise, so in case Toei drops the ball again in the animation department, people will at least have the manga as a sort of "consolation prize" or even an "untainted version" of Super if you will. It's the same "safety net" situation as with retellings, fans who didn't like them will always have the 2 movies.

Called it. Sadly, if things continue like this, Toyotaro's manga will end up becoming the definitive version of Super for me.Kakarotto92 wrote: And third, because given Super's anime track record, there's unfortunately a relatively high probability that at least a few fight sequences in the tournament will range from mediocre to atrocious animation and art-wise, so in case Toei drops the ball again in the animation department, people will at least have the manga as a sort of "consolation prize" or even an "untainted version" of Super if you will.
