And there's no reason for Tapion to provide special treatment: Taking his sword out of the equation, if his power level is high enough to provide him fast enough speed to kill Slug with a sword, he's going to be fast and strong enough to take Bulma down non-lethally, if he cares about her not being evil. Second, if he uses the sword, he can lob off something that will force Bulma to concede, and Supreme Kai of Time will reverse it. Tapion may be a hero but is not being a white knight here. He went into this tournament to gain Beerus' favor and fight for him against Champa's group. He's not going to hold back, especially if the ugliness of battle would be reversed in a matter of seconds.

Now, we haven't gone over Bulma's tech. If Tapion is to be stronger and you want Bulma to win, let's hash out her tech so she can secure a win because she's the superior fighter, not the strongest fighter.
My idea was that basically even with the power boost, Tapion is still physically inferior to Slug, so he needs to use his swords magical properties to make up for the difference. If all he has is a sword that can cut through anything, his fighting style isn't really magic based. His power level would still be the most important factor there, since if he's not fast enough to connect a fighter with better power could easily defeat him.
Good point.
As for Bulma's tech, my thinking was that she has a variety of Power armors, each with a different load out of tech.

Against Mecha Kid Goku, she uses one with Gravity manipulation powers, and high defense capabilities. She uses the fluctuations in Gravity to cause Mecha Kid Goku to malfunction, and get granted the Victory that way.
Sounds good so far.
Against Tapion, she'd use her standard armor, which is strong enough for her to beat Tapion assuming she manages to avoid his sword.
Okay, let's say that she can't avoid the sword:

Counter 1: A magic sword is still made out of metal. She can magnetize the weapon and tear it away from Tapion.
Counter 2: Smoke Bombs and Holograms.
Counter 3: We steal God's Blade from DBM. She gets him from far away.
Against Slug, the only armor she has that could do any damage to him is also too slow to hit him, so she can't beat him
If she fights Slug or Vegeta, win or lose she's going to need to pull out her best material. What if she creates a new Power Armor on the fly? She goes out with the Heavy Armor, sheds it for a new armor based on Magic instead of Tech? Inbetween breaks, she chats with spectators and contestants of T2, and builds a magitek armor?

That's largely why I suggested he have some more Magic tools. It gives him variety whilst still retaining his magic theme.

The magnetism idea is a good one.

Hmm, she probably could build a new armor. There a night between each round, so she has the time.

Okay, but I don't want him to be similar in usage like T10 Yamcha. What do you have in mind?

Some ideas I had were.

-A Boomerang which freezes his foes in place for a split second if it hits them (A reference to the legend of Zelda series)
- His universe's version of the Nimbus, which is faster and can produce weather effects
-A Phoenix Feather that can transform into into a state wherein he is completely immortal for five minutes (Cannot be reused, and he only has one. )
- The Bansho Fan
- Three throwing knives that he can use to teleport.

He is sounding exactly like Yamcha, or like Link. Let's do it like this:
(Pains me to say this) Tapion's Sword only has 100% Success against Evil. Organic, Metal, Whatever. Against Good, normal sword properties. In exchange, the Sword can cast spells without incantations.
Projectile One: freezes his foes in place for a split second if it hits them
Projectile Two: Fires weather effects including gales.
Immortal State: He turns into an invulnerable/Immortal statue for five minutes. Doing this leaves Tapion unable to fight for a long period of time afterwards.
Projectile Three: He turns his opponent into an invulnerable/Immortal statue for five minutes. For non-fatal capture.
Subspace State: The Sword can pierce a hole in reality. Tapion goes in, and comes out instantly somewhere else in a limited area, looking like teleportation.

Hmm...what if Tapion had multiple swords instead, each with a different effect? His main sword can cut through anything, and he has a magical sheath that can store all of his blades for his use. His blades would include

- His main blade, which can do the Subspace cut
- A sword that generates ice
- A sword that generates fire
- A sword that generates lightning
- A sword that can extend at will
- A sword that heals instead of hurts
- A sword that reflects the future on it's blade

I like it. But what is he going to do with a blade that tells the future?

Normally, he uses it to keep ahead of his opponent whilst he tries to plan out an attack

Same time he died in canon during the Cell saga. The divergence there is that Gohan took his training more seriously during the 7 years between Cell and Buu, so Goku didn't need to come back permanently.

With Goku still dead, Frieza was willing to take a little while to sort out his empire, so he arrived later than he did in the canon timeline

Thanks. I'll give that to the Beta as well. Once it's beta'd, I'll post it here for you and Bardock to approve.

Some background for Timeline 13, while we wait for the beta.

Lord Slug
Tullece
Bojack
Rildo
Tullece is the strongest fighter from Timeline 13. In their last confrontation, it took Rildo, Slug, and Bojack together to match Tullece. Since then however, All three have developed new forms which they believe can help them match Tullece in power
