This started out as a small project, shouldn't have been more than 20/30 pages long, but the ideas just kept coming.
I know it's not the best in terms of artwork, with some unfinished panels, serious lack of backgrounds , but all in all, I'm pretty happy with it.
But I definitely regret not correcting all those mistakes in the dialog :(

So thank you to everybody for sticking around for so long (sorry about the hiatus) and leaving all those lovely comments.
Would really like to know what you think of the whole thing, constructive criticism very welcomed :)

Also, what was your favorite moment? It seems most liked "the great retreat " . For me, I think I enjoyed the robbers/ rice cooker pages the most :D

A few trivia things:
- Vegeta was a last minute addition
- Back when Goku first showed up , using the instant transmission technique , people said that he should've known it was Piccolo and Vegeta, since he has to focus on the individuals ki signal to teleport to them. Originally, he did know it was them and just pretended. The idea was that Bulma sends him to secretly film Piccolo and Vegeta so she could black mail Vegeta from now on with the embarrassing footage. But I wrote that out, so it remains a plot hole :?
That was fantastic!

I'll have to re-read the whole thing for any possible criticism, if any, but one thing I really loved anyway is how Goku was not the main focus of the story yet he was still active in it. That second panel in the second-to-last page where he just pops in the image to tease Piccolo is so funny, aha. This is the Goku I love, not the exaggerated idiot he became for no reason in DB Super.

It is true that the art is different than Toriyama's, but it's never ugly or anything, and even if it were, I wouldn't even care because the story is so fun!

Double post so that the post with all the pages stands alone.
Michsi wrote:I don't get it , the images were fine when I posted them. I checked in the preview and after I posted it, so I thought the issue was gone. What happened in the mean time :(
In my post they show up because none of them are on imgur.

In any case, I suggest you upload the rest of the pages to your deviantart. Linking from deviantart works. In fact, many of the links to the pages of my post are from your deviantart

I will offer my full review on your series later :D

And so, the great fan manga of all time is over :( thanks for the wonderful ride man, I hope to see more from you in the future.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

Ah, what a great read it was. Thank you for creating the best DB fanmanga there is, Michsi :D Great stuff all the way through!

Also, thank you, rereboy, for archiving all this stuff and sharing it with us ^^ Such a gem should never be lost.

Uh oh... looks like you left in a typo in the epilogue. Whole series is ruined now, guess you'll have to make another one.

 Thank you for making this.

I don't know what my favorite moment was, but I really like the way you portrayed Goku in particular. He seemed totally in-character to me; silly, a bit oblivious, but still clever. I mean, everyone seemed to be in character, which I think is one of the biggest appeals of this fanmanga, but Goku's silliness is an especially delicate balance and you nailed it.

Once again, thank you rereboy :D Appreciate it !

And thanks to everyone for the feedback :)

As for future DB projects , I don't want to disappoint, but I doubt I'll be doing anything like this again. Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of fun, and to my great shame, I think I have more fan ideas for DB than I do for my original stories, but I think it's time to move on. Not to mention that my desire to create something for a franchise is directly proportional to my interest in said franchise, and I'm sad to say Super isn't doing anything to sustain that interest right now :(

But you might see a piece of fan art or a comic strip once in while. No promises though.

Thank you for finishing such a wonderful story! I want to write more about it but I'm currently at work and will have to do it later. But I just want to say your story has encouraged me to revisit my own (sfw) fan manga and try to finish that one. Thanks!

Give the Champa arc a chance. PS: How about writing stories and having others drawing them/scripting the dialogues for you?

Excellent work on this wonderful fan manga Michsi (aside from a typo or two). It was a fun read throughout capped off with a action packed and comedic fight scene that would do Mr. Toriyama proud. All the characters felt sincere; enough like their manga and anime counterparts but also featuring your own drawn in mannerisms.

P.S. Sorry to hear you are not enjoying Dragon Ball Super Michsi. Too be honest I have not been keeping up with it myself due to time and bandwidth constraints  . So I cannot honestly say one way or another whether it is good. Though as sangofe mentioned I have heard good things about the new stuff in the Champa arc.

Reading this made me very happy :) . It's always nice to see that I managed to make people laugh a little with this silly little story, but I never expected it to do more than that :D

That would be somewhat difficult for me . Whenever I think up a story, I automatically think of how it would look on the page, in panels, so I already have an image in my head of how a certain scene is supposed to look. Even if I'd explain it, another artist probably couldn't draw it like I imagined it and.... it would bother me. Call it greed, but when I'm fond of an idea I really, really like to draw it myself, even if there are better artist out there that could do a better job. I'm not totallyagainst this I guess, but it's not something I'm considering right now .

And regarding Champa arc, I'll be around to see how things progress.

This is exactly how I feel, except unlike you I don't draw. :P Makes things awkward.

Anyway, it's hard to believe I've been following this for four years now... harder to believe it's finished. It's a strange feeling, I don't follow many fanworks like this. But the comic was an absolute blast from start to finish, and I'm really happy you got to complete it.

Absolutely love the series. Thank you Michsi. :D
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

I must say you did a great job here. It was so good that I couldn't stop reading. An original and cool story with very funny moments - that's what I was looking for. Great job once again

This Doujin is truly excellent.

Would you mind If I showed it off on another forum? You'll be given your due credit, of course. But I wanna show this to a lot of people

Congratulations on finishing your manga, Michsi. It's always inspiring to see a fan project completed when so many great ones are abandoned.

Thank you very much.

Of course I don't mind , but if it's okay with you I'd also like to know when you do. I found WWTBASH on other sites as well , posted by other people and I enjoy reading their reaction.

Thank you ! :) To be honest, I'm kinda guilty of this as well, I have one or two smaller stories left unfinished but I swore I wouldn't let this be one of them. I had a few projects coming up and I told myself I would finish this before anything else took up what was left of my time.

Sorry for not replying to everyone , I haven't been around lately and might continue to not be for a while. I'll try to answer to everyone when I have the time.

Sweet.

Do you have a particular name you'd like to be credited by, or do you use Michsi everywhere?

Michsi is fine , but I don't mean to make a name for myself so no need to worry about this.
