Did Goku turn into a Super Saiyan 4 without getting his tail back & going Golden Oozaru? There is no mention of his training under Rou Kaioshin or him becoming an Oozaru.

Indeed, neither of those events occured in this version. In an effort to make SSJ4 more "Super Saiyan-like", I decided to alter its method of obtainment.
In DBNA, one can only become an SSJ4 when the body is bombarded by excessive amounts of Bruits radiation while giving into rage (like other SSJ transformations). The rage factor is why Bebi Vegeta turns into an Oozaru and not a SSJ4, in addition to his dna being muddied by the Bebi virus

Hey Malik big fan here. Your art is truly amazing and I like the story too. Rigor as a character is meh but I like everything else. One question though and I'm sure you hit this question before so forgive me for asking but,

How are you able to sell the volumes of a copyrighted product like DB? Is there some sort of exception somehow?

How are you able to sell the volumes of a copyrighted product like DB? Is there some sort of exception somehow?

Well, there are numerous reasons. Selling doujinshi of a series to which I don't own the license for is technically illegal. However, Japanese companies tend to turn a blind eye to such activity for a multitude of reasons.

For one, they use it as a method of free advertising for their series. My doing a Dragon Ball series draws attention to the official product, regardless of my limited reach.

Another reason they don't usually pursue any litigation against doujinshi artists is because the amount of money the artists is not worth paying an 800lb gorilla of a lawyer to sue them. To put it in perspective, last year I made less than a full month's wages at a slightly-above-minimum wage job. Its not worth Shueisha's time to come after me for that kind of money.

Yet another reason is that they look at the doujinshi circuit as a method to 'scout' new talent. Both Naho Ooishi and Toyotaru were Dragon Ball doujinshi artists, and now they work for Shueisha.

ANd finally, the fact that I don't use any copyrighted logos and all the art in my books is drawn by me and I'm not using any scans of the official product and selling them helps me avoid any issues.

Aww, I actually really liked the way standard GT did 4, how you had to become an even more violent and powerful version of the Oozaru and regain your sanity to attain 4.

Wow that's some pretty good art! Really beautiful the way everything is drawn in his design. The muscles, his entire body and face. everything.
But is this his real color? I know he's a manga only character. (So it's in black and white) but i was searching through a Wiki the other day. And they showed him being Pink like Boo.

And was there ever a point when the Aspect Lords were Born or Created in some way? Or have they simply litterally always existed. And there was simply no beginning and thus are truly "eternal" beings?

In the wikia entry for the Aspect Lords, it reads "The four Aspect Lords were "born" long before the point of creation by forces, thus far, unknown. Their exact age, as a result, is unknown." These are beings beyond the Gods, so I left some of their origins ambiguous. Its up to you to make that kind of decision.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Malik did draw the Aladdjin on the wiki, but it was quite a while ago, so his colour pallet may have changed

Aladjinn's earrings seem to be different here than from the manga.

The above one (new version) seems to have some sort of Potara Earring. While the others from the manga doesn't.
Any particular reason?

The version in the manga was an original version I thought would work, but the four earrings in smaller pictures looks jumbled, and doesn't really tie into the overall theme of the Gods. They were supposed to represent the four Aspect Lords, but I think uniquely colored Potara style earrings will fit much better, so once I reach that point in the story for the few revisions, the potara-like earrings will replace the four earrings

Actually I just announced on the DBNA FB that after I got about halfway through Chapter 36, I didn't like the way the story was going, so I want to do some script rewrites. In the meantime, since they can be completed much faster, I'll finish the revamp chapters while I rewrite the script for 36 and beyond

Yes, the revamps are going to come first, but I can no longer do weekly four pages like before as I simply don't have that kind of time
