I missed the episode, but from I've gathered so far:
- Piccolo won on a technicality as Frost cheated
- Frost is evil
- Piccolo stepped down from fighting in the next match for Vegeta to get a crack at the whip.

I gotta watch the whole episode to get a better perspective, but I'm not really liking what I'm hearing so far.

The preview indicates that Vegeta won't finish off Frost either, so I don't get why so many people are accusing Super of shafting Piccolo for Vegeta.

Because Vegeta vs Frost is completely unnecessary. Piccolo should've continued to fight.

Look, it's how Toriyama wants with the story. You guys are looking at a single episode without having a slightest bit of critical thinking and bigger picture. There's your problem.

Dragon Ball is always going to have some "bad" written episodes. A bad written episode is not going end the world.

Because it is unnecessary. Vegeta's grudge against Freeza should have come full circle in the last arc but Toriyama fucked that up and now seems to be forcing this one to make up for it. Vegeta is literally the last person of the big 3 that should have a problem with Frost but he can't stand his voice so naturally his moment automatically becomes more important.

Not much they can do, other than stop illegally watching the show. I must admit, Piccolo forfeiting is all kinds of bullshit, but I'm very intrigued by the general plot of Super and I'm very interested to see how things pan out.

Nothing we can do, really. We just figured 20 years later would prove a perfect opportunity to just say fuck it and hit the reset button and let some others that don't have blond hair a chance to shine, but it's still the all Saiyans all the time show.

All this episode confirmed was that Frost was evil and cheating. We still may very well have a long way to go with Super. So the generational that this show will be a Goku and Vegeta wank fest has no real platform until the show ends and a proper judgement can be made.
