My idea was that in his universe, he came to take the word Sixteen as his name, to reflect his heritage as an android without denying it. That's why for him, Sixteen is spelled out, whereas Android 13 only had a number

(For the record, in my head Sixteen's son was named Emerald)

I was thinking Emerald too. Only rock I can think of. Anywho, I'll start with scene 6.

I got a question. Why did Garlic ask for help from 13?

Basically, Garlic's immortality will heal him from any lethal injury, but not from crippling injuries. Bardock crippled him without killing him. He wanted help getting out of the ring, but 13 just killed him so he'd heal

That's ingenious. That immortality wish is so hard to plan around.

I was thinking that a ring out would be the only plausible way to beat him.
But, does Garlic Jr. need a lethal injury to trigger his regeneration? I didn't think he needed to.

I don't recall for sure. IIRC, the only wound he healed from was a whole in the gut

I see Garlic Jr's immortality to be longevity, and based on surviving a blast to the gut in Dead Zone, regeneration and life restoration to go with it. However for reasons, we don't know what immortality means outside of loss of life or limb. For example, if Garlic Jr was encased in water for long periods of time or jesttisoned into space, will he be in a state of live suffocation? Then there's pressure points. He's immortal, not invulnerable, and paralyzation doesn't fall within loss of life or limb: So would it not work?

I suspect paralyzation, at least with resulting from damaging the spine, would be out of the question. The hole in the gut was the key on that one as it went clean through, severing the spine. Garlic Jr. regenerated from that one.

So based on what you're saying, it's not pressure points, but spinal damage that's happening, and so he should be able to get up from that. Still though, that goes back to what measure of immortality are we dealing with. Because everyone receives damage from the fight unless they're fighting someone far weaker than them. If in a hypothetical mashup, Goku and Garlic were the exact same strength, and Goku punches Garlic in the face. Goku applied damage. Would Garlic reel from the pain, or is the wish of immortality going to have Garlic tank the damage as if the punch never happened?

It's clear he still feels pain and he still is going to take damage, as DBZ movie 1 and his own saga demonstrates. The question should be "How fast is his regeneration rate?" Also, do we have any idea if he can regenerate at will like Piccolo?

I always felt that Garlic's regen would be automatic. It's the wish that's renewing his body, not him.

I'm not sure what A/N is, but shouldn't we have the roster before the start of the chapter? It's not going to mean much to the readers when its at the end unless they feel like re-reading chapter 2.

Another thing, before you upload it, you should probably check a couple things. Italics since posting on a forum resets all changed font, and the astericks for scene changes. Fanfiction.net doesn't allow them in the stories and if you look in chapter one, the astericks are gone. Now there is a button in the editing mode that will allow a line to be placed between paragraphs, so maybe we can use that.

Finally here are my edits.

Can you give me a summary of what you changed? It's kind of hard to tell the differences just going by memory

Too many too list. Just give it a final read through if there is something you don't like, change it and upload it.

Chapter's posted.

There was some spacing issues in your version, so I used the one I posted.

I did change the asterisks and fix the itallics
