Ditto. I'm sick of waiting, but i can put up with it. What really irritates me is the simple lack of any official word. We obviously know its being done but still though no "official" statement on it from Funimation in any capacity. I'm sure they have reasons, but still a simple "coming soon!" would make a lot of people feel better.

I don't know if this would do anything, but I think everyone should try tweeting Funimation's and any voice actor confirmed for Buu Saga Kai's twitters to see what's going on. I know it's a long shot and has already been tried many times before, but social media is better than sending a letter (at least in my opinion from how things work today and how voices are heard).

We know its being worked on but most of us have resolved to believe that Toei is making Funimation stay quiet about anything "official" until it airs on Toonami through a TV deal. I mean its more than likely going to air there anyways so I doubt that we'd get any real response of substance. The most we'd get are cryptic hints from the VA's and minor things from panels like the Vegito voice approach change, etc. I don't like waiting this long either but it's plain as day now that this is the case. Funimation's not really the sort to hold off Dragon Ball news for 2 years after having acquired rights to something Dragon Ball related.

Yeah, and judging from this: http://thedaoofdragonball.com/blog/ques ... agon-ball/ Funimation won't respond to tweets so it basically confirms what I said in my previous post. So, basically - It'd be nice if we could tweet them the question, but they would never respond. Oh well. I've officially accepted we ain't getting the Buu Saga until next year when the Cell Arc is finished (unless they show two episodes a week or do a marathon that shows further episodes, sometime this year - I doubt it though because for some reason they love just showing one episode).

I know they like having a recap episode at 8pm and then the next episode at 12 midnight, but honestly - I'd prefer if they changed it to where 8pm is just Family Guy or whatever so that 11:30pm can be Toonami's start time again and we can have DBZ Kai from 11:30-12:30pm. That way, we'd be finished with Cell by the end of summer this year or something, but I KNOW THEY WON'T DO IT SO I JUST WASTED MY TIME LAYING OUT THE PERFECT PLAN FOR THEM. (sigh) At this point, I might just buy Seasons 7-9 on blu-ray just to see the Buu Saga (it's the only part of DB I've never seen all the way through). But then again, Funimation would just LOVE for me to buy those seasons and then get Kai on blu ray so I'll probably just stick it out until they release Kai Buu Saga instead of giving them more money (rewarding) for taking too long.

Oh, and I know it's Toei's fault not Funimation's, but still. No money for Funi (Haha, that rhymes).

Worst case scenario - they're waiting for Kai 1.0 to end on Toonami, they're at ep 60, i think.

Pretty much figured at this point. Mostly just curious if there's like a specific con or some sort of major event that if anyone had to guess we might expect to hear an official announcement at it. Or just a general time frame that I'm not aware of. I'm not sure if Funi has any sort of consistent scheduling with this sort of thing. Like announcing something on average X amount of weeks/months before it premiers or just a general time of year they may tend to make more announcements about upcoming work than usual.

I disagree. If it runs after the finish Kai, that is not worst case scenario. At this point, that is a good scenario. Worst case scenario we never get it for years more.

It's a two-part series. Kai was revived because of much demand in the west for the Majin Boo arc.

The episode 99 / 01 even has a somewhat long recap just to know its viewers what happened because had it been a continuation the recap would be the normal amount.
