DVR Rating: 15th of February - 21th of February
1st: Lupin III - 100.0
2nd: Yokai Watch - 89.8
3rd: Doraemon - 86.7
4th: One Piece - 84.7
5th: Boku Dake ga Inai Machi - 71.8
6th: Detective Conan - 67.0
7th: Mobile Suit Gundam - 64.1
8th: Gintama - 61.0
9th: Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (TV) 2nd Season - 58.6
10th: Dragon Ball Super (Episode 32) - 54.6

As steady as they come. One Piece saw a moderate raise, still not enough to trump the Ear-less cat. Super lost 0.1. Onto the next!
Maybe we´re forever stuck in number 10th.
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

How does Curious George do so well in Japan? Weird to see a western property there.

Same rating as last week. That 7.3 rating that EP 32 scored is looking more and more like a fluke or an anomaly.

And yet that episode ranked the same place (7th).
There'll be other higher rated episodes eventually, but as long as its ranking is steady, it's all good.

It kind of bugs me to see it getting higher ratings than major franchises like Precure, Naruto, Pokemon, Super Sentai and etc, mainly because i doubt Curious George having good ratings in Japan has any big impact on it. But what can you do.

DVR Rating: 22th of February - 28th of February
1st: Lupin III - 100.0
2nd: One Piece - 91.5 (Up 2)
3rd: Yokai Watch - 90.4 (Down 1)
4th: Doraemon - 88.2 (Down 1)
5th: Boku Dake ga Inai Machi - 72.8
6th: Detective Conan - 67.4
7th: Mobile Suit Gundam - 64.6
8th: Gintama - 61.3
9th: Dragon Ball Super (Episode 33) - 60.4 (Up 1)
10th: Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (TV) 2nd Season - 59.5 (Down 1)

We got up one place! One Piece got an 6.8 increase while we got an 5.8 increase; they're likely connected since we're One Piece's lead in. Let's try to defend the position next week and build upon it.

Can someone explain how DVR ratings are calculated?

It seems a 60, for instance, is proportional to the most recorded show (100) that week. That would mean DBS got 60% of Lupin's recordings. Something like that?

I remember one of the times DBS got a 100, they said it doubled the original viewership. So an episode with, say, a 6.0 live rating, presumably gets a 10.0 or so if we include a DVR number of about 60%. But that's just a very rough estimate, since we have no idea how many people actually recorded Lupin. It could be a lot less than that particular DBS episode, or more. So, for us, it doesn't mean much, honestly...especially for daytime shows that rely on sponsors. But maybe it's an important source of data for the networks and late night shows that have low live viewerships.

DVR Rating: 29th of February - 6th of March
1st: Doraemon: 3 hour Special - 100.0 (Up 3)
1st: Lupin III - 100.0
3rd: Yokai Watch - 90.8
4th: One Piece - 86.5 (Down 2)
5th: Boku Dake ga Inai Machi - 73.4
6th: Detective Conan - 68.2
7th: Mobile Suit Gundam - 64.8
8th: Gintama - 61.3
9th: Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (TV) 2nd Season - 60.5 (Up 1)
10th: Dragon Ball Super (Episode 34) - 56.9 (Down 1)

Super returned to it's regular spot this winter season. Last week rise really must have been thanks to One Piece, since this week they dropped and we follow.
My hope for a boost thanks to the brand new material dissipated. We are too many episodes in to see a possible return of people who dropped/waited, when they saw the first two arcs would be retells.

The Winter season is coming to a close, I'm not sure what shows are finishing and what new ones can compete with Super. There's a possibility Super loses it's 10th spot when Spring begins.

Eh, not really, these are DVR ratings. What airs before of after doesn't matter, people record what they want to record.
And since DB is OP lead-in, even for live viewerships it usually works the other way around. If you pay attention, OP rising doesn't mean DB gets a rise too, but the opposite holds more truth.

Lupin, Gintama, Boku Dake and Gundam are ending. There are two animes that i see the potential to join the DVR ranks: Jojo and Ushio to Tora. Maybe Ace Attorney.
It's more likely to rise than drop a spot, especially as Lupin was pretty much breaking the system.

You're right, I was applying the logic that a recording might start sooner and catch part of Super. It happens to me sometimes, with my service. Since in the last two rankings, Super and One Piece had the same behavior I guessed it might be connected. I haven't seen the whole sample to make a more proven conclusion.
Taking a quick look, silly of me to have fallen for the confirmation bias.

Lupin ending will shake the whole board. We were ahead of Ushio to Tora when it was airing a couple of seasons ago. New Jojo, nice! I'm still finishing Stardust Crusaders, awesome series.

Lupin was really good. I'm sad to see it end. Bokumachi has one more week, it was also pretty good imo.

I feel like the Spring Season had more series than Winter did, but I could be wrong.
On hiatus.
