My top 3. Don't get me wrong, I love these scenes in general, but oh, the possibilities! And yes, I realise they all apply to SSJ transformations / power-up scenes.
#1 - The "Demonstration of SSJ3 to Trunks & Goten" scene. Instead of "triangle guy" and his half-assed job, how about the animators who worked on some of the final fight scenes from the Kid Buu saga? Imagine how much better it could have looked!
#2 - The "Powering up of Goku Vs Cell" scene. Again, "triangle guy" makes his prescence known, along with his red crayons for the final 'red' blast. Same rule applies from the above paragraph.
#3 - The "Gohan smacking the ever-loving shit out of Cell as a SSJ2" scene / episode. Now that entire fight scene would have rocked over 9000 levels of awesome if that was animated properly! And yes, the same rule applies for this scene in terms of the animators used.
Any other suggestions?

Goku vs. Freeza - Oh the humanity, the nose-dive in quality combined with the constant dragging on of this fight...
Vejitto vs. Boo - Awesome fight, animation got pretty bad though.
USSJ Trunks vs. Cell - Help me. Some parts looked great...then it looked horrible.
SSJ Trunks vs. King Cold - This one hurt. One episode with great animation ends with Trunks killing Freeza, and the next episode opens with it happening again...with horrible animation.
Basically, the 'triangle guy' should have been left out of the series completely. The biggest gripe I had with DragonBall Z, even moreso than the filler, with the inconsistent animation.

I remember that. What were they smoking? They can't just show the same clip again? They have to re-animate parts of it to make it look even crappier?
As for better animation, the Freeza saga definately looked like crap. What's weird is that I didn't see many errors in the Garlic Jr. saga, the saga that Toriyama didn't even fucking draw in the manga...

Well, my biggest ones already got said.
- "Vegeto vs. Buu" - Good fight, bad animation.
- "SSj2 Gohan vs Cell" - I just can't watch most of this fight, it's so bad. Thank God I have the manga for it instead.
- "Trunks vs Freeza/Kold part 2" - Seconded.
...and a lot of "SSj Goku vs Freeza," to be sure. I bought a few of the DVDs for AMVing purposes, and I agree, some moments are terribly animated.

The List
1-The episode after Gohan kills the Cell Jrs.
2-The episode where a floating Freeza is telling Goku he's going to die.
3-The episode when Bebi is actually killed.
Reasons
1-Two episodes before this (when No.16 is destroyed) had some of the best animation of the Cell Arc imo. Then it took a turn for the worst with, gem-eyed Cell and Gohan with four-foot tall hair.
2-It looked like Freeza was covered in tar then set on fire. Goku had enormous breasts too; seriously.
3- You have what might be the best villian in all of DragonBall and he ends with Triangle Guy*..
*Shouldn't 'Triangle Guy' be called 'Triangle Team'. I'm sure there isn't one man or woman to blame for this. While we're at it, I'm surprised FUNimation hasn't been blamed for this animation..yet..

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

When Trunks returns to the future and defeats the Artificial Humans.
The middle and end of the Goku vs Vegeta rematch.
The post-warm up episode of Goku vs Cell.
Reason? They were all utterly painful.

More like I'm surprised that Funimation hasn't lost their licence for DB/Z/GT yet or gotten blamed for so many errors in the past... but sereously DBZ's animation is no way bad in comparison to the Naruto anime so just be greatful that Perriot didn't animate it.

All the others I wanted have been listed already, so:
-The first episode of the Goku and Vegeta inside Buu arc.
The animation just looks so flat in it.
On hiatus.

2.The 2nd episode where SS3 Goku fights Fat Buu
3.The episode where you first see Piccolo and Cell in Ginger town

Aside from the ones previously mentioned (Baby's death, and Freeza's (not mecha form) death), I'd have to say that I really didn't like the animation in the episode where King Piccolo dies. Sure, it was good for that time, but we've seen that the animators could do a way better job.

I know there were different animators, but what do you mean by "Triangle Man" or "Triangle Team"?

I didn't mind the animation during the Trunks def. Androids sequence, but the Trunks def. Imperfect Cell one was noticeably poor, especially after Trunks throws Cell into the air.

This thread should clear stuff.
EDIT: Looking back at that link, another scene I'd like better animated would be when Goku gives up against Cell and tells Gohan to fight him next (triangle man strikes again!).

My brothers and I just unflatteringly call that "bad style" and the guy "the bad animator."

Triangle Man is also funny though... Any chance he has a real name?

Let me post examples from a past thread.
Here is "Triangle Crap":
And here is a picture of "Closest to Toriyama" compared to "Triangle Crap":
There are many more animators, such as "Pale Cartoony Type," and another guy who started during the Buu saga. I think we (the forum) called him "New-type," but I don't really remember.

Oh I know what parts your talking about in the series! Like, the episode in which Son Goku blows Cell in half has that high quality animation. Then when Son Gohan starts to fight, the animation takes a huge step down. I think that all had to do with the budget the animators/producers had to work with. I'm not sure if that's the reason or not, but that's always been my take on it.

Don't these scenes last like a second??
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

Usually, one animation team will do an entire episode. It cycled through various teams because...do you honestly think one studio could peddle out a new episode from scratch every WEEK for ten years!?
