Interest in a Dragonball exclusive Game?
I was up late last night, so I popped my copy of Dragonball: advanced adventure into my GBA. After replaying a few levels, I got to thinking, would you buy a DBZ game, for the Wii or PS3 that only focuses on the original series? Theoretically, it would be designed like Sparking Neo! but hopefully without so much material to use, they would be able to focus on Graphics, Alternate costumes, plot development, controls and improved cut scenes. Just focus on the series and a few of the DB movies. The character list would be limited but look like this: Kid Goku, Teen Goku(23rd budokai), Tien, Kuririn, Muten Roshi, Grandpa Gohan, Piccolo Daimao, Cymbal, Drum, Tambourine, Ma junior, Tao Pie Pie, General Blue, Emperor Pilaf, Namu, Baba's fighters, Chaozu, Tsuru Sen'nin, Yamcha and a few other little fighters(Bacterian, Giran etc.).
Chivalry
I would so like it but I want it on the PS2 too! I can't afford either of them! And at least someone knows the different with Kid Goku and Teen Goku! Teen Goku's ultimate attack would be the Super Oozaru Fist!

Everyone's like, "What?! What are you doing with two arms?! You tear that off right now, mister!"
Poor guy.
Lol'ed.

Yes... I've always thought this. Here's what they need to do:
Take the Budokai 3 engine (which is way to slow-paced for DBZ), add jumping and crouching, free-walking (without having to guard and double-tap the directional buttons), and make the characters unique to each other, with just Dragon Ball characters, and prehaps Raditz (because he can't fly... he could be a secret character), it would sell like hotcakes. But no... that would make too much sense.

In dragon ball, there's so much diversity that shallow gameplay would have to be intentional.
Since destruction of the areas is less prevalent (though not absent by any stretch of the imagination) in DB, arenas could be made a lot more... interactive? And given DB's nature, there'd better be enough soundscaping involved that I'm not designing another game that I can't play... >.<.
I think sort of a mix of the three big titles (budokai3, Sparking!, and Super DBZ) in controls and mechanics would probably be best; you'd definitely want freedom in all three dimentions, but the martial arts in DB is more... urm... martial artsy than punch punch punch punch Hte-Leport! Smash!
And you have very different fighting styles and such... and... ooh... *thinks of ASCFIS*.
You could have like, your DU-type mode (though since it's DB, it'd be a lot less fly around and talk to random people and more adventure-ful... maybe not classic RPG-ish, but with some detailed environments and various things you can do there). And hey... Goku eats a lot! *wants to see that applied*.
*suggests a minigame involving catching giant fish*
Now if I could think of a lot of places in DB where just beating the opponent isn't the main objective... we could come up with another mode... that is... different, and applies the epicness of the arenas.
I.E, the Pirate base. In story mode you could just fight General Blue here, but in ... other mode, that is still using the fighting engine and not switching to pure adventure-ness, you could have to get to a safe location while the fight is still going on and the place is collapsing. And... save people?
And... *tries not to give away too many ASCFIS elements...* *realizes that ASCFIS has an incorrect letter*
Urm, yeah, I'd be interested in such a game. ^^
