"The official Twitter of V-Jump revealed that the first volume of the manga Dragon Ball Super, will contain a bonus, an exclusive interview between Mr. Akira Toriyama and Toyotarō in which they talk about the Super Dragon Ball series and its future."

https://dragonballsuper-france.fr/drago ... -du-manga/

What do you think they'll talk about ? it's length ? an upcoming arc or 2 ?
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Yeah i heard about this, no way is it news saying dragonball super is ending, they must be announcing a new arc and maybe movie. It could be something crazy like Toyotaro is the new story creator.

Giving the story to anyone other then Toriyama is a bad idea.

Usually those interviews doesn't tell anything certain. Something like "Yeah, it's fun to work with you, nothing exclude a second arc, it could be nice if".
I learned english listening to songs. So I don't know anything about. The day you had to learn play piano by just listening .mp3, you'll understand.

Notes like how? By saying: "Oh you didn't need to be so honest"? Come on
''It seems like everyone is underestimating me today''
Piccolo's role in this tournament was to prove that you shouldn't undermine one fighting style. His remark to Frost was clearly in response to everyone believing he could merely prepare an easier fight for Vegeta. He wasn't satisfied by that. Everyone has preconceptions with power and forget the most important aspect, which is to explore your oponnents' weakness. I guess Frost relying on cheating is enough to consider Piccolo a great fighter. In my opinion, this pretty much clashes with all this stupid power debate. In this light, Piccolo seems much more interesting than he ever was since Cell Arc.

With quotes like that it usually is about power that is why every is assuming Piccolo is saying everyone is underestimating his power and thats is what I interpret as well. Your last sentence is the exact reason why many people are annoyed. Everyone has been waiting for Piccolo moments since the Cell arc and we are losing out on more because of Vegeta.

Piccolo doesn't need to be powerful to have a great moment. He did very well in both versions with what he had, he is exactly the opposite of Frost, who despite being very powerful is lazy and corrupt. I'm actually annoyed at Frost, not at Vegeta or Piccolo. As a fan of Piccolo, I'm very proud of what I saw.

It was sorta the first time since #17 that Piccolo had a significant fight. I liked that he was treated with respect, overall. Plot device notwithstanding.

Respect? Like Goku saying he's weak, or Frost throwing his strategic fighter claims in his face or Vegeta calling him pathetic and making him forfeit? Which part of that was the most respectful towards him exactly?

THIS. Vegeta kept pissing me off the entire episode.

At least the fight was better than the manga but still... Couldn't Piccolo just win the god damn fight?

In no way toriyama would hand the story rights to anyone other than himself. It would make no sense

He demonstrated competence in the face of a situation he'd likely not win, and was ultimately ousted by a cheap tactic instead of being overpowered. Not the best situation, mind you, but it was more than most of the other characters have gotten in a couple of decades. Wanna compare notes to GT?

At least the story here acknowledges that he's a good fighter.

That part where he forced someone stronger than him to resort to cheating in order to win, which everyone enjoys ignoring so they can piss and moan. This is like Gohan all over again. Unless he's farting someone else out of existence, then his treatment is absolutely unacceptable.

Not necessarily. Someone other than Toriyama might have the drive to move the story forward in time, which wouldn't be a particularly unwelcome addition.

So... How that will work? I mean it will be a manga apart from the original 42 volumes, right? Not necessarily meaning that is canon?

Not at all, Toyotaro actually can draw and remember important details that Toriyama forget often too much.

It's a promotion for the anime, it has nothing to do with the original manga.

Considering the tripe that is Toyble's AF, I'm gonna go ahead and say that an ability to draw and remember details does not make for a good storyteller.

Probably, that's why I think that they could be a duo like Jesse and Heisenberg, Toriyama is the storyteller/designer and Toyotaro do the drawings, remembers important plot points and etc.

No, this isn't like Gohan at all. Gohan got Cell and he got Mystic and he was still considered the best of the old cast aside from Goku and Vegeta.

What has Piccolo ever gotten besides Raditz and being a glorified babysitter?

I meant the whining about Gohan, in regards to his treatment in Super. Nothing seems to ever be enough, nothing can be interpreted as a positive, because he's not a top dog power house.

That now seems to have taken a back seat so that the same can be done in the holy name of Piccolo, who Toriyama and Toei have blasphemed the image of.
