The DBZ youve never seen section

Post by Sun_Wukong » Wed Jan 31, 2007 6:20 pm

So EX, if you used the Dragonbox for the Playdia Gaiden, why do the screen caps have subtitles on them?

We subtitled that scene, ourselves, for playback at the convention. Julian translated it, and I subtitled it.

Something you'd like to try and hint at without justification...? :)

Damn, I almost forgot that they included the Playdia footage on one of the Z Dragonboxes. From what I understand, it's cleaned up, but it hasn't been brought up to Dragonbox standards...right?

Also, Mike, how the hell did you get your hands on the Dbox quality footage of the Playdia stuff? Then again, you know lots of people... :p

There are lots of friends I've met over the years that are helpful for specific little things I need.

But yeah, I had to clean the clip up a little bit more, myself... the colors are pretty awful. It's not progressive, blah blah blah.

Huh? I knew the Dragonboxes didnt have subtitles. I was just curious as to why the screen caps had them, if you were truely using them as the source. :p

According to Kanzentai's review of the first box, only the Bardock TV special is included. Which means that The Trunks TV Special and the Playdia footage is on the second one.

You lucky asshole. I want the Dragonboxes! Just 6 more years, just 6 more years, just 6 more years...

Huh? So you're 12 years old? (12+6=18?)

I'd rob a bank cause there's always the chance you won't even like DBZ in 6 years. Better watch it while you still like it.

Nah, he's 16 per his MySpace. He probably just means it'd take him 6 years to save the necessary funds ;p

BTW, for what it's worth, I've been a fan of the series for...12 years now? I'm 23 now (or will be on 4/27). Don't underestimate the power of DragonBall.
