There's just too much U7 bias in Dragon Ball these days.
It's just Toei's way of shitting on Magetta. They even made him cry after his fight.
Screw Magetta. What about Frost? One of the most original and unique characters to be brought into the story, and then Vegeta one-shots him. That's just total nonsense. He was clearly stronger than any Super Saiyan should be, worn down or otherwise. I quit Dragon Ball.

My two cents: this thread is just throwing more wood into the fire. I fail to see how it contributes to improve the discussion. Even though I can relate with the sentiment, this isn't the way to go about it.

I don't think this is the last we'll see of Magetta. He's too awesome of character to to just toss aside already. Likewise with Frost, Batoma, Hit and Cabba, I think they will all place crucial parts in the plot down the road with Super. We can only hope.

Yeah its an obvious shot at the constant complainers but a warranted one in my opinion.. Everyone has the right to voice their opinion no matter how different they are, thats fine and dandy and we all understand that. but voicing the same opinion over and over and over agian, after a while just becomes a chore to read. I mean, we're almost 37 episodes in on DBSuper and yeah its been a helluva rocky road so far and its mostly from an aesthetic standpoint ( I.E. the animation being bad). However seeing as though we're so far along at this point I dont really think we should expect anything to look better than some of the better moments of the redone Godku versus Beerus fight. As such there should be no need to say " Shitty animation " every time a new episode airs and its animated on a consistent level as the 4 previous sub par quality episodes. At this point I feel like unless its surprisingly good or worse than episode 5 there should really be no need to constantly say something about the animation ESPECIALLY if all your going to say is "Oh that was shitty".

And sure its a double edged sword because sometimes story elements are conveyed better when its nicer to look at, but I think Super is too far along for that to matter too much at this point.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

I don't think so. Magetta can't even talk and can't fly. Botamo barely spoke throughout the entire arc. Those two seem like throwaway characters designed only for this arc, like Giran, Namu and others in previous tournaments. Cabba, Hit and Frost (and Monaka) seem like the ones that'll stick around, even though I think Frost will also receive limited screentime.

I think all the tournament fighters, except maybe Hit, will be forgotten about after the tournament ends. There's no reason to see them get any more appearances since they were only really here for this tournament arc.

I mean what would they even do with any of them? The yellow bear and Magetta have no real personality, Frost would just be redundant since both Hit and Vegeta defeated him, and there's nothing else for them to do.

If the Universe 6 Saiyans are involved with anything after the tournament, I imagine Cabba will stick around.

Magetta put up a serious fight, even though Vegeta was holding back, I felt like there was moments were he genuinely grew worried that he could lose, and for that Magetta was a worthy opponent :D

Where's cabe you didn't mention the saiyan from u6 like he doesn't even exist kabe can have an important role after the tournament since he promised vegeta & goku that he will invite them to his home planet sadala and maybe there is a whole new story about them visiting to their original home planet in u6....

magatta vs vegeta was another version of piccolo vs frost, a weaker fighter using abilities and skills to overcome the power difference, and nearly succeeding and then, getting screwed by vegeta.

Complaining Botamo and Magetta won't come back after this arc is like complaining about Man-Wolf or Namu never coming back. Or, even more appropriate, the participants in Uranani Baba's tournament. They're tournament participants, not necessarily new additions to the cast. The fact that those two don't really get backstory or much dialogue further hints at it. Of course, Cabba and Hit might be a little different. Frost...I've got no idea.

(And yes, I get the sarcasm)
I could have gotten into anything...and yet I chose the story aimed at young Japanese boys about martial arts, and later about super-powerful aliens punching each other really hard.

frost is not going to be important character , botamo neither. However, Cabba is going to be a side character, and Hit will be a new hero or big bad. Magatta isn't going to be forgotten either.

They are all going to be offscreen if EOZ is still intact.

Magetta will be insulted again in the future. It will be a running joke.
"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime.
