I'm just glad we never had a ugly DB movie like that. One piece already had one too (Movie 6).

Yes, I never got how the movie was described as having higher quality art and animation, than the series, when I browsed message boards and wikis and the like.
I always hated how it looked and could not understand how that counted for higher quality, than the show.
I can't claim to know much about animation other than basic stuff, so technically it might be better, but the art at least was absolutely shocking and their color pallette way off with all their dark tones and more realistic feel *Spits*.
