Dragon Ball Z Movie 06 aka "Clash! Ten Billion Powerful Warriors!!" aka "Return of Cooler" aka "Fuck this Movie".
When compared to those two, DBZ Movie 06 suddenly becomes a masterpiece.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Favourite old DB Animators: Masaki Sato and Tadayoshi Yamamuro

Machinedramon Nappa and Puppetmon Kurrin: that alone got me set. Also apparently Taka kinda previewed that live-action ending on Twitter with a pic of the scene. Dammit what did you guys do or give Lani to pull shit like that?

...it was the "WEN BROLI" joke wasn't it?

Disliking Hosoda's art style does not make the animation "shit". It's actually incredibly good.

I would kill for a Hosoda Dragon Ball film.

biased opinion is biased
The last nickname was coined by Kaiser himself. If anyone knows the art is atrocious as fact, it is him.

As someone who never watched Digimon in the first place, I thought the art and animation for the movie was pretty good. Seeing how it's from the guy who did "Girl who Lept through Time" and "Summer Wars", I wonder who really has the biased opinion? It may not be what you're used to, but that doesn't make it bad. DBZ Movie 06 is just plain ugly.

Same. Not only is his animation quality always just wonderful, but the guy is also a fantastic story teller. I envy One Piece for getting a film directed by him.

I was hoping that if they did Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans, they used the Bandai Playdia True Plan discs, as they have the most footage overall. It would be even more impressive if it was combined with footage of Team Four Star playing through the Famicom game that the OVA is based on, with the True Plan footage aligning to the decisions TFS made in the game...

...It could be the closest thing to an unscripted DBZ Abridged episode ever! Think of the improv potential...

So I missed Abridigmon Episode 2 until it was pointed out by the Our War Game video, and from reading the comments it seems each characterization was based on other internet content creators but I don't recognize them except for Gennai being based on Doug Walker and I'm guessing Tai based on ShadyVox.

Can anyone explain more of the context behind these?

I actually didn't notice that now that you mentioned it (saved for the Nappa and Kurrin voices in Abridgemon the Movie). I'd like to hear about this as well.

Devimon was Grant, the line about him "realizing having money was more important than having an opinion" was referencing him joining TFS despite disliking DBZA.

I assume Puppetmon's insistence to put everything on a shirt was a reference to Lani pimping out TFS merch.

I have a question for Kaiser. You know the joke you guys keep using. "I know what your thinking. Should I x? Well, the answer might..." and then they do whatever the fuck it was. What's the joke with that? I don't get it. Is it from something? It just sounds like something that those really shitty abridged series do. Like, the ones that aren't popular and shove memes into everything.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

It's not a meme or a reference, outside of the idea of the classic line, "The answer may surprise you!" Used by newscasters, self-help instructors, click-bait articles, etc. It's just a joke that started with Goku and got used again once or twice later on. Some people like it, some don't. So... eh. Don't know if we'll use it again.

For what it's worth, I like it. Maybe because X is usually something terrible and I have a dark sense of humour.

It's a hilariously ineffective way to try and convince someone not to hurt you.

The Krillowned count is the only one we can say is always active because it's everywhere and we know we'll see it again as long as Krillin gets hurt. The thing about running gags is that episodes or seasons can pass before they appear again. So really except for one, none of them are active, and are waiting for a time when their joke could fit again.

Yeah the Krillin Owned count did take a several episode break since Yamcha was getting...well Yamchaed. XD

Hey, Kaiser, I saw someone hold up a TeamFourStar sign during New Day's intro.

That was Lanipator. He, LK, Taka, and some others were at the Wrestlemania show.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!
