I've asked the seller of the DBZ Orange Box set to record a sample (1min) of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z films through VLC to have an idea of how the audio sounds like. He did upload two samples but they were full of echo and done with a camera so hard to tell how good or bad the audio really is. And chances of the audio being "muffless" isn't very possible but shouldn't be struck as an impossibility either. After all, with so many bootleg releases out there it's bound that there's a few good ones like this
Dragon Ball GT box.

the movies are not muffled the voice are in mono but bgm are in stereo ... the orange box are only the movies so i think it is the same audio as dragon box.... but the two other release are tv series...
your link to my topics is an official taiwanese release like kei said the audio and video doesn't came from a tv release (no logo, no text, sponsor card doesn't have voice but just bgm unlike the tv broadcast )
it is an official release but the image isn't the box cover

That GT release is legit?

The cover is horrendous like someone spent five minutes before deciding that to be the finalised product.

This is an official VCD release, but...from Hong-Kong, not Japan.

I do recall hearing voice-over through the Japanese audio.
