Yes, there was Oozaru roar. It's easily one of the best, if not the best scene in the entire franchise. Umnei No Hi + Nozawa's scream + Oozaru roar = perfection.

Yes, there was Oozaru roar. It's easily one of the best, if not the best scene in the entire franchise. Umnei No Hi + Nozawa's scream + Oozaru roar = perfection.

I know right? People are so stupid about not wanting to propagate the use of a word that has been historically used to demean, exclude, and otherwise diminish a prominent race of people.

I mean, why should I take the effort to be remotely conscious of the feelings of an entire culture? I mean, seriously, who cares? Just a bunch of overly sensitive people bitching about stuff that happened a long time ago. People should just learn to let go, especially people who've been insulted. They should totally just get over it, right?

It seems like it's settled nicely. I, too, get annoyed by the game of "gotcha" we play, where we pretend intent and context are completely irrelevant and focus entirely on the (often everchanging) terminology in order to bust someone. But it's clear that's not happening here. Good community is good.

It's a good scene, but I think it would be improved by adding the lightning bolts for SSJ2.

Seriously, that distracted me the whole time. I need mah lightning bolts.

The only problem I have with the inconsistent lightning thing is that, in the Boo arc, Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 are almost indistinguishable without it. In the Cell arc, Gohan looks different enough between the two forms that it isn't entirely necessary.
