Given his involvement in Online and Xenoverse, I wouldn't be surprised if he utilized some of the elements for the potential Trunks story in Super, like the Time Patrol or the Time Kaioshin. Despite looking over the plots of both games though, I doubt he remembers them that well. So I don't imagine whatever he's planning would just be an adaptation of their plots.
