Estimation does not equate to measuring. Yes Goku thought that the fight would take longer but that doesn't mean he was comparing his Ki to Vegeta's. Gohan thought that Goku had a superior battle power to him in the Cell Games and Goku said that this wasn't the case because he knew Gohan was stronger from the time in the RoSaT. Numerous times characters have only been able hazard a guess as to how powerful someone is compared to themselves. They can only properly tell through fighting and seeing the other persons moves or comparisons against other individuals. If they can follow their opponents moves then you can guess that you're strong enough to match the way they are currently. If an opponent seems slow then you can assume that you're stronger than them currently. Freeza made a good estimation of Goku's power despite not being able to sense in the Namek saga for instance.buutenks wrote:nah, they can definitely sense it. What you r talking about is mostly overconfidence or being blinded by pride.
A good example of sensing is ssj2 goku vs majin vegeta. Goku says, well ill finish this fast and transforms into ssj2, then vegeta goes ssj2 and goku says this might take longer than i thought. He knew vegeta had the same BP as he did.
Beerus is not impressed with Vegito?

I think Goku did not need to estimate in this instance because the ki was just that high.Hitiro wrote:Estimation does not equate to measuring. Re: Beerus is not impressed with Vegito?
Well if Vegeta's Ki comes in higher than Gohan's was back in the Cell Games then Goku would think it would be more difficult to fight him. So it really is an estimation.ryan s wrote:I think Goku did not need to estimate in this instance because the ki was just that high.
Re: Beerus is not impressed with Vegito?
Why can't we pick at something more original? I remember when people argued that Vegeta has never seen Ultimate Gohan in action, because he was surprised at the kids and Gohan being absorbed (Goku told him before merging). Well, we have a line from DB Super where Vegeta knows of Gohan's potential, but what does it refer to: something that has always been present, or just the Old Kai power up? It's interesting to say the least, but it won't change the number 1 line from Super, unfortunately. There are means for it to be true without misplacing our favourite pink blob though.

Battle Of The Gods showed goku and vegeta to be more powerful than Mytsic Gohan krillin was more shocked about vegeta being taken out then gohan but that is a different topicDesassina wrote:Why can't we pick at something more original? Re: Beerus is not impressed with Vegito?
I commend you for not going there, but that doesn't make much sense. Some other time, perhaps
Re: Beerus is not impressed with Vegito?
Previous Vegetto was weak than Beerus. For sure. Even SSJB is stronger now!
But if Vegetto appears again, and SSJB!
I'm sure they would overpower Beerus easily.
