Actually, given that in a recent interview it's stated Toyatoro is given a great amount leeway to do his own thing when it comes to the manga adaptation of Toriyama's original story draft for Super, so you could arguably say that anime is a more faithful adaptation of Toriyama's original plot for the show.

It is also stated that while Toyotaro expands on Toriyama's Story Draft, he doesn't include lots of his original ideas, which is why they suggest him to include them more in the future. And it's stated that Toriyama not only oversees every chapter of the manga, he makes corrections when he feels like.

On the other hand, the anime is written by various scriptwriters, the series composer is not Toriyama, and while he does supervise the anime, Toriyama isn't heavily involved to the production.

So, the manga is made by one guy, while the anime is made by various people, and Toriyama is more involved with the manga... how did you conclude that the anime is more faithful to Toriyama's Story Draft?

Can't believe people are still getting hung up on who did what or won which matches when things are really getting bizarre and interesting and feeling perfectly Dragon Ball at this stage.

I think I've had enough of it and thankfully there is an ignore function which I'm going to use from now on by adding each member who is more obsessed with who wins/loses gets enough screentime all the while hating on others because of instead of enjoying that we are actually getting new DB content. Because it's the same every week, it's rinse and repeat. I mean I want Gohan to get more time too, I want to see him fight, maybe not main character material but 2nd 3rd or 4th type of character. But that doesn't mean I'm going to hate on Vegeta or Goku or any other character.

It's not really about disagreeing. It's about getting tired of reading irrelevant complaints many episodes down the line.

I might agree with someone that parts of episode 5 were poorly animated, but if they were still bringing it up weeks later, then I'd rather not see their posts anymore. I imagine the same principle applies here.

I ignore people all the time. It's better to ignore posters you don't like than to engage with them and break forum rules. That's no fun for anyone.

I quite curious about what Zalama will look like. Given his name almost certainly comes from "salamander" and his summoning chant is so silly, I wonder whether Toriyama will make a joke out of him.

Zarama is the creator of the Super Dragon Balls and it would be kind of weird if he was summoned by them (Earth's orbs don't summon Dende). They could work by different rules though. If he is the dragon, we'll see him soon, if not, I wonder if they'll bother with him or leave him as a mystery figure...?

Zuno said Zarama would be the one appearing to grant the wish. I expect his personality to be silly. I think it will be very easy to be disappointed with him, the expectations are too high. He's the reason the story exists. It reminds me of that line at the end of the 23rd TB were Kame Sennin reassures Kami, telling he's the reason everything happened, because of the Dragon Balls.

I just double-checked after my blunder and Zuno said that the "Divine Dragon" would appear, not Zalama. He simply created the balls.

Because, as you said, Toriyama is ultimately giving Toyotaro permission to include more of Toyotaro's original ideas in the manga, and essentially provide his own unique spin on the story.

But even though he is allowed to do it, he doesn't seem to be doing it. Otherwise, they wouldn't suggest him to include more of his original ideas. We know that he expands on Toriyama's story, but we aren't told that he makes changes to it.

Zarama is said to be a "Dragon God" (龍神/ryuu-jin), while the Super DBs are said to summon a "dragon of the gods" (神の龍/kami no ryuu).
