The royation depends on staff sticking around to work on the series. Some might have prior engagements.

Tate absolutely killed it on this episode, with his fluid animations and dramatic choreography. He brought pride to the Dragon Ball legacy with his work on episode 38. He should be a regular choice for the fight scenes in this series.

Ken Ootsuka just tweeted about Dragon Ball Super.
ドラゴンボール超の単行本が手に入らぬ…ぐぬぬ。
The online translations for this one are a little bizarre for this one: "Dragon Ball Super book off the hand. Gununu."

Just gonna wait for someone more reliable for that one, haha! Seems like it might be basically him saying his work is done? Maybe?

Looks like he is saying "May get hold of the Dragon Ball super-book ....may fail."

Yeah, that's another one I saw. That one makes more sense. Didn't know what exactly was said, so thought I'd mention it in case it related to the animation at all.

If he really is trying to hunt down the "Super book", which is probably the 30th Anniversary Guide, I think that's pretty cool.

Tate did such a horrible job with the Vegeta vs Hit fight. There weren't much movements in it other than that spin kick that was animated good but it looked off because the art was trash. I don't want people to tell me that it's just his style and it's not bad. So his style is bad art? Did you even see Vegeta's body? It looked like shit, especially his legs and face.

He did a pretty good job on the Goku vs Hit fight, I'll give him that. Thanks god he didn't animate the whole episode.

And another Crystal episode aired, once again i loved it, animation is very good, and i laughed so hard at comedy elemets (Especially at end, when Chibi Usa shooed Usagi avatar) surprised they created completely new transformation for Chibi Usa

Given animation was being worked on for Episode #6 in January this really isn't surprising.

Crystal season 3 is so good!

At least it shows what Toei is capable of when they function on a saner schedule.

Outside of some funny faces I don't think the season has actually been all that good. The directing and pacing is really slow and lacks energy. The fights are practically non-existent and not even well-animated, either. The only real improvement is 'less bad drawings', which shouldn't even be considered an 'improvement'.

He's bummed out because he didn't get the manga volume for Super.

Thank you! Its cool to know that Ken seems to be a fairly big fan of Dragon Ball. I really hope that means we can expect more work from him in the future.

Is that particular edition of the Super manga out of stock for good, or is it just for a little while?? Wanted to get one eventually.

It will probably be restocked eventually but it seems it's currently out of stock everywhere.

That's actually great news! I hope the manga keeps selling more and more.
Poor Ken though. Glad to know he likes this franchise that much. :D
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

It's been so long since we've heard from Yoshifumi Fukushima - since episode 30 (*points to avatar*); happy to see he's back. An entire anime seasons's worth of weeks (and then some) have passed since then.
