Not crazy about the form, could really use less spikes, but I guess it's better than just a color change.

So, King Cold has turned into the Super Shredder...I wonder if he'll last as long as the Super Shredder did in the second TMNT movie. <_<

And is he transforming again at the end there?

I'd laugh if he went Gold on top of this, if for no other reason than for Bra's reaction.

Coola's 5th form was already kind of like shredder. The spikes make it look even more so but Coola already had some spikes going on.

Yeah that is one fugly design. Way too many spikes, horns, etc.

I find this to be much more preferable

Not a great design. Kind of a letdown after the one we saw the phantom Freeza obtain. Looks like something from a bad AF comic.

No, really...what am I looking at? Everything is SO detailed and so spiky and so thick, that I can hardly even tell Cold's tail from his spikes. Where do the spikes begin and end? GRRRRAAAAGGGGHHH

Meh, the 6th form wasn't really necessary. The fight would have already been interesting with the 5th form, which was actually believable since Cooler and Frieza are both shown to at least have the genetic potential for it. This, on the other hand, is just overdoing it. I'm a little disappointed because DBM is normally very creative when it comes to power-ups. This looks like something out of a bad fan fiction.

That said, I wonder how strong he is now. He's at LEAST Perfect Cell tier at this point.

I realize this form's gonna get a lot of hate, but I'm REALLY liking this right now. I figured he was gonna power up to another form (was somewhat expecting Golden) but this....

Top left is the tail's end.

Around the head, it's a more elaborated crown.

And there's bigger spikes on the back.

I have no idea why it should get hate. Both of Cold's forms just followed the logic behind Coola's 5th form.

Let's look at it carefully:

As we can see here, Coola's 5th form is similar to his second form, with spikes on his back, tail, arms and head. Basically, his 5th form is to his 4th form what his second form is to his first plus spikes.

That's what they gave Cold for his 5th form, giving his own spikes and kind of a crown on his head.

But how would a 6th form be?

Well, if the 5th is kind of like the second, they it makes sense for it to be like the third.

And that's what they did, but, following the trend they gave him spikes, and made him impressive.

Besides that, personally, I think he looks beastly, and really threatning, which is great. About time one of the enemies actually looks like a real monster and after gold Freeza I find it to be very entertaining.

... And this is why I appreciate Toriyama didn't take these more elaborate forms further like Krillin imagined, when Freeza was about to reveal his final form.

I'm going to assume Buu gave him this monstrosity form. I always thought of the augmentation forms as being their equivalent of Super Saiyan, so then in theory this is SS2, but honestly I can't imagine him going one more, unless it follows the reduction form logic, and he turns into a new sleek design again after being a monster.
