The comparison would be apt if SSj3 featured super long arm and back hair, and a second pair of arms.
Loving that second pair of arms though.

Sorry, but there's no way Buu could've given Cold these new forms. The "Frost Demons" were long extinct by the time Buu was revived, so But has no knowledge of their biological design or a means to "replicate" the form. He may have given Cold inspiration to further his transformations and dig deep, but not completely give them to him.Regarder wrote:I'm going to assume Buu gave him this monstrosity form. I always thought of the augmentation forms as being their equivalent of Super Saiyan, so then in theory this is SS2, but honestly I can't imagine him going one more, unless it follows the reduction form logic, and he turns into a new sleek design again after being a monster.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
...I...*tilts head* ...What am I even looking at?
I might be in the minority here, but I've got to say, between the two options of 'simple' (ie Golden Freeza), and 'overly-complicated' (ie, uh...this)...I'm gonna have to opt for the Golden. It might not be much to right home about, but this is just...flabbergasting.

I admit though that I do understand and kind of like this reasoning for it though, as it's basically the same as my old head-canon theory on what forms past SS4 would look like (ie SS4 being similar enough to a Saiyan's base form in some ways, 5 would likewise be similar to the first SS form, 6 would be similar to SS2, and 7 would be similar to SS3, etc.).rereboy wrote:As we can see here, Coola's 5th form is similar to his second form, with spikes on his back, tail, arms and head. Basically, his 5th form is to his 4th form what his second form is to his first plus spikes.
That's what they gave Cold for his 5th form, giving his own spikes and kind of a crown on his head.
But how would a 6th form be?
Well, if the 5th is kind of like the second, they it makes sense for it to be like the third.
And that's what they did, but, following the trend they gave him spikes, and made him impressive.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
You know, I liked the Golden Freeza form because it followed the same kind of principle Freeza's original form did. All of these progressively more monstrous transformations lead into something simpler, yet with menace behind it. Golden Freeza jazzed things up a little bit with the color change and other minor changes, but not too majorly as to lose that feel.
That said, I didn't hate Cooler's Shredder form. It broke the conventions, but that can be fun, and it didn't go too far.
This...this went way too far.
I mean...holy shit. Even the 90s would say this is too "Extreme".
Hopefully this eyesore won't last too long.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I get having it be inspire by the Xeno Queen from Aliens is cool, but this is so badly done. The form is ugly to look at. My eyes bleed for everytime that I look at it.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I meant, allow him to unlock them, not invent the forms. Buu might have powered him up a bit as well as telling him to make saiyans agree to a handicap, though we didn't actually see Buu say that. Actually, I'm going to go and check the novelization as it usually adds extra info to clear things up.Darkron2151 wrote:Sorry, but there's no way Buu could've given Cold these new forms. Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I thought 5th form looked amazing but this is just a little too much. Way too much spikes plus 4 arms?
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
In some ways, it kinda betrays Toriyama idea, just like Broly, strongest characters were usually short and Innocent looking, perfect example of "Dont't judge book by its cover" Still, i don't hate it, it is just..bizarre looking, like straight from Dragon Ball Creatures world http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Dragon_Ball_Creatures

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
This new form is absolutely horrible IMO, the fifth form was okay but this one has just gone way over the top. Give me Golden Freeza all day over this.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
DID YOU ADD ENOUGH SPIKES?!!! ROFLMAO!!!

Of course SS3 is overkill. That was the point.BlazingBarrrager wrote:Except SSJ3 isn't overkill like this monstrosity. Even Toriyama would admit this is too much.rereboy wrote:He did it with SSJ3. Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I really like the 5th Cooler-like form and I am even ready to back up something beyond that taking after the 3rd form... but this is just garbage.

Oh well, guess I'm pretty alone in thinking that it's great. Must be due to all the monster movies and such that I've always liked.

Did Toriyama made designs for Coola?
