I would've posted this in one of the Season 1 threads... except that it doesn't really have anything to to with the Season 1 set. ^^;
Anyway, courtesy of Rightstuf, here is the (tentative) DragonBall Z Season 2 cover art!
http://www.rightstuf.com/cgi-bin/catalo ... 3358/4/0/0
Make of it what you will. I find it rather dissappointing.
Widescreen, boo!

I don't think that it's really any better or worse than the first one. It is kind of boring that every set is going to be the same orange color.

I thought we already had a thread on this. That, or this was talked about in an alread-existing season set thread.
Whatever.
Anywho, I like the fact that they'll all be in the same orange color. It makes the side-art more consistent if all the boxes are the same color and it just overall looks better if the season sets are sitting next to eachother with the same color scheme.

The consistency is nice, the simplicity isn't really.
But at least Goku isn't cross-eyed.

Yeah... A random Goku on the box? Oh well, it's not worse than first box-art.

Yeah, I've seen it already and it's fine IMO. To be honest, were you actually expecting a Dragonbox single-like cover for these boxsets? I've learned accept it. Besides, isn't there tons of other things to complain about with these sets you guys..
@Tori: Shut up, you.

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

Talk about boring. I'm just glad it says, ''Artwork subject to change''. Let's hope so.

At least it's not a screencap with the DBZ logo printed on the top.

I don't mind it at all... But I think they should keep with the themes: Saiyan Saga had Vegeta, so I think Namek Saga should have Bulma, Kuririn and Gohan.

I was picturing the Namek Saga set to be green, and feature Freeza or Ginyu, or his Tokusentai (should the Freeza Saga be put out seperately, after this). Plus, this particular picture of Goku was already featured on one of the "Ultimate Uncuts" sets, so it's kind of lazy of FUNimation's part.
HOWEVER, it may be sexy to see the complete collection, once they're put together and all out.
I was Thanos before the MCU existed!

I'm actually looking forward to "season two" as I got into the series during the Freeza episodes. And because I only own three Freeza dvds. Three. TT_TT
The reused Goku looks alright, though I do agree rather lazy.
On hiatus.

I'm really excited. I haven't watched the first seasons (season 1-3) in AGES.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

I actually kind of hoped that Ginyu would be the cover so that each release sort of had a "main" villian (at that time in the show) on each set.

Yeah, I think this pic has been shown somewhere else on the boards....

....I don't really like it. It's not visually stimulating. One thumb down.

Maybe when they cancel this collection after the next couple releases they'll go back and put out some better boxart with the re-ultimate collection eXtreme 2.0 edition...

Wow, they put zero effort into this stuff anymore. I could whip that out in 5 minutes with photoshop.
