Any Dragon Ball Z fan subs around?

Post by Berserk » Mon Feb 05, 2007 11:24 pm

Just curious because I havent seen one in a good while, probably from funimations efforts, but was wondering because I heard a rumor someone was going to start ripping there dragonboxes and then adding proper fan subs with characters with there proper names(example: emma daioh and not King Yama) because of the unpleasent Season sets from funimation with there damn widescreen. If anybody knows about this can you please discuss.

It was mentioned, but since they're technically illegal because the show has been licensed, conversations of fansubs are kind of a no-no around here.

Good luck searching elsewhere, though.

We can't talk about it here, but it is going on, and I know who is doing it.

And now, time for VegettoEX to lock the topic.

Mmm ... Not exactly allowed to discuss this. Someone brought it up a while back and I was threatened with a banning for answering them.

Besides, there's really no need for fan subs anymore when the one's put out by FUNimation are about the best you're ever going to see. I think getting into the debate of Enma Daioh-sama vs. King Yama, etc. is rather ridiculous. It's highly doubtful that any fansub could be as accurate as Steve Simmon's.

If you're unpleasant about the wide-screen, just buy the previous single releases from FUNi. Don't resort to pleading for ILLEGAL and IMMORAL bootlegged fansubs that have nowhere near the quality of Steve "Daimao" Simmons' hard work. Be a man and show the series some respect by purchasing the proper legit releases, and if the lack of episodes 28-67 irk you, then buck up and get FUNi's seasons 1 and 2 or the R2 Toei releases. Because if you're gonna persist on going for "fansubs" in this day and age, I assure you that you'll never have any respect from me and probably anyone else here.

Mike, sorry if replying to this is against your rules.
